3 Wishes and A Dream

How would you differentiate hopes, to wishes, and to dreams?

One thing is for certain, they are all related to each other. They share the same circle when it comes to desires and aspirations. However, each of them has its own depth and connotations.

In my opinion, hope revolves around optimism and anticipation. It is something that you would want to happen in no time. It can be in a general perspective, and you feel a sense of motivation and purpose by looking at it.

Wishes are often associated when we have specific desires and requests. It can be something that is symbolic and magical. It's when you know in yourself that it's crazy to wish for it but you still do.

Dream is something you manifest for it to happen in the future. It is more of a personal ambition or goal that comes with a purpose. It could be career aspirations, personal relationships or life accomplishments.

Now in relation to this, @Coolmidwestguy came up with an interesting writing prompt again. To accept this challenge, here's what I choose from the categories:

You are granted three wishes from a Genie. What are your 3 wishes? Describe in at least 300 words what they are and why you want them. Will you rub the lamp?

I wish for everyone to get through what they are going through

Life is indeed is full of struggles and obstacles to surpass but not everyone is strong enough to carry on amidst the suffering and pain. I wish that everyone of us is given that strength to overcome misfortunes in life.

It's impossible to wish for a life with no problems to deal with, there will always be but I believe it's more logical to wish for someone to equip themselves with resiliency and strength.

My heart goes to those people who resort to self-infliction. It must have been so tough for them that the last option to get away from the struggles is to take their own lives. I know how difficult those times were but I was blessed to be given another shot to keep surviving in this unfair world.

I wish for everyone to embody pure heart and soul.

Now this is something crazy but who knows. The real world is filled with hate, grudge, pride and greed. If only none of these would infect a human's soul, world peace is most definitely achievable. No crimes, just full of love.

The reason why we are struggling everyday is because of these greedy, hateful people. They have excessive love for money, fame and power. Imagine a world full of kind and compassionate people where crimes are nowhere to be found. A harmonious and progressive universe, indeed.

I wish to give everyone a lamp and be granted with 3 good wishes.

I would like to give everyone an equal opportunity to be granted with 3 wishes. However, these are for those whose intentions are pure only. One would wish something bad to happen to someone and we should not tolerate that.

Before granting the 3 wishes, the person should remain genuine and truthful after being granted. I know you guys have your own wishes too and it'll be great if all of our good intentions will be granted.

A dream to manifest

I would like to share with you guys a dream that I wanna achieve in life. It is my dream to be financially stable and to travel the world.

I believe it is everyone's dream to be financially stable. Money wouldn't be an issue when something happens. However, given that sort of privilege comes with huge responsibility. Money has to be spent with caution.

When wealth becomes a reality, some people have greater possibilities of going beyond what is right. They turned to be so obsessed with money and that's bad.

For me to be financially stable and be able to travel the world, I must work hard to achieve. And if I have the luxury to share my blessings to those in need, I would be more than happy to do that.
