Who we are is a very complicated discussion. We, as humans, are very vague. It's in our nature. There even comes a time when we don't even know who we are. Some people say that we are what we eat, we are who our friends are and some even say that our mistakes and/or our victory are what defines us. People are a very smart species. We may not know it but we are above the rest. We have a unique quality that separates us from other beings.
We answered this question several times. During a job interview, at school, in introducing ourselves to someone. But do we really know who we are? Is it really yourself that knows you well? Or does somebody knows you better than you do? Nevertheless, we still know who we are and what we want.
Most of the time, people are in denial without even knowing. And people tend to see things depending on how (they think) they feel. People sometimes don't see themselves as to how others see them. People always do things, like a defense mechanism, because it is normal that people will have initial reactions based on how they feel and see things especially when it's about themselves.
People are stubborn by nature. We are very hardheaded especially when taking in rules. We always do something against it. We try to comply but there will be that tiny bit of disobedience that we do. Even without knowing. People who are lost and are very broken need, someone, to help them better understand who they are. And these people know what to do. It is not always "I know myself better than anyone else." It is always helpful to know how people see us. We don't have to please anybody. We just want to know if we're still on the right track because sometimes, we so self-absorbed that we don't realize we are not doing good already.
Answering this question, even to ourselves, is sometimes hard. That's why people are having a hard time answering "tell me about yourself" in job interviews. Because this question is so intricate to answer in a single conversation.
before you judge anyone have to know ourselves first
