Hello everyone how's your day today?my day is always busy ,last night I almost didn't sleep because the eldest daughter of my employers came home from Malaysia she came at 3am in a morning.i get up in my bed to great herald hug and kiss her,she is the first kids I take are but now she is studying in Malaysia. and today she have a request to cook a Zucchini bechamel this is her favourite when she is here. So yaya will make what she request. Early in the morning I prepare what I need for Zucchini bechamel.
First I put out the frozen group meat,and I star to clean the Zucchini take it out the skin,and slice in a long size .i will make more I big tray and small Pyrex, no Zucchini in Philippines I think so but this is almost same a upo or patola.
The ground meat
Then I will make the ground meat first cut the onions and garlic,take a big saucepan put some oil then put a garlic saute add the onions saute together, when become golden brown, put the ground meat mix it properly until comes on water then add salt and black pepper to taste. Then add tomatoes paste leave it boiling and add a cooking cream .
Bechamel
Warm the milk in microwave or saucepan and set aside.
Melt the butter in heavy satin a medium heat but do not let it brown.
Add the flour and stir it quickly into the butter with wooden spoon the flour and butter must be mix like a wet egg.and mix 5 to 8 minutes until dry like a little bit brown
Pour a little warm milk just enough to moisten the flour and the butter. Stir it good to loosen up the thick flour. Then add the remaining warm milk .Cook until thickness add salt and black pepper. Stir proper until you reach the thickness you desire.
Arrange the Zucchini in a tray
Arrange the Zucchini in the tray by layer then add ground meat put again the Zucchini and put it in the top the bechamel
Free heat the oven for 15 minutes before you put , 200degre in 45 minutes in the lower fire of the oven,then oven the upper fire for 15 minutes and add mozzarella cheese in the top to more creamy.
Ingredients
2kilo of Zucchini
I kilo of ground meat
250ml of cooking cream
Non salty butter
1/2 cup of flour
I liter of full cream milk
Salt
Black pepper
