The best of 2021 and with it's unexpected ending

Happy new year!

Another year were given to us. Another year to continue on what's not yet done. Another year to be grateful. Another year to be fulfilled with fun memories. But first of, I wanted to thank God for He gave us another year to live this world and enjoy what's not yet enjoyed.

But before I embrace this new year 2022, I just want to highlight first the best that happens to me at 2021 and how unexpected it ends.

• Staying together with my partner also with our son

Last January 2021, it was our first month that we decide to stay together since we already had a son. That's why after our son turn 1-year old J decided to go with my partner at his hometown and stayed together with our son as well. Because I believed it's the best for us so that our son while growing up would see us staying together as family.

It's the first that happen in 2021 which I thought the best that happen to us as family.

• We were able to separate a house and rent a house to live on our own

When I and my partner decided to lived together. We then first stay at his grand mother's house since his parents already gone and they don't have their own house too.

So, for almost 8 months we stayed together at his grandmother's house. Then things happen that forced me to separate with that house and lived alone. You know the living with the in laws are not all lucky. In my case, I doesn't seem to liked how my partner's grandma acts or her attitudes doesn't seem to be parallel on what I thought is good. That is why, for me to avoid more unnecessary incidents I then asked my partner to separate a house. So, we looked for a house to be rent and good thing we found one.

August 27, 2021 - the time were we separate and lived on the house we rented and were already living here for 4 months now with peace and no more eyes watching our moves which I hated the most when I was still living or we were still staying at my in laws.

Living together alone with our own house even if this house were living is just a rental house is one of my fulfillment and achievements for the year 2021. At least we now start to not depend on others but just to both of us.

• Knowing about the BCH Communities

2021, it was the year were I was able to know about the BCH and how can I earn BCH.

My friend introduces me first into this platform read.cash and through this platform I was able to understand some points on the crypto world. I even tried my luck on some smartbch tokens and I then able to understand on some like how it works and how should it be done.

Also, noise.cash was introduced by me again which I was also been active there and learned how important to HODL BCH.

But in my case, I was so thankful that in the year 2021 I able to know what BCH is and how we can earned it. Even if I wasn't able to HODL BCH still I was able to used such earnings to sustain my family's needs. That was already a great achievement for me.

• Being hired in a University

After 4 months of working or teaching online to foreign students, I then decide to grab the opportunity that knocks my door and that is to apply as visiting instructor in my alma mater from College and then luckily I got hired after my application, interviews and demo.

As of now, I'm still affiliated at said university which was my alma mater.

This kind of job is already a practice to me on the real scenario of teaching since that was the course that I graduated in College, the Bachelor of Secondary Education which means teaching high school students.

But with this said job, I also able to teach College students and that was such a great experienced added in my career of life.

Those were the good or best highlights that happens to me for the year 2021. It was all pleasing moments of 2021.

When I thought 2021 would only bring me such pleasing moments but unexpectedly it ends with a devastating tragedy that turns the best moments of 2021 into a feeling of downfalls, a feeling of worry, a feeling of distress.

When an unexpected ending of 2021...

16th of December, a super typhoon hits our province which left a huge devastation towards our shelters and source of income.

My family's home and their 3 hectares source of income which are the coconut tree, the copra were all gone and wiped away by the strong winds in just 5 hours.

Many people were out of shelters because houses were damaged and being tore down by the typhoon.

2021 ends with huge of casualties and damages towards all the victims of the typhoon.

An unexpected after math of the typhoon for we thought it's just a usual typhoon. But that usual turns into unusual for it causes a very disruptive effect to all victims including me and my family.

2021, brought a lot of pleasing moments to me and to my family as I've said but suddenly before it ends it turns into the opposite side wherein the pleasing moments were now bombarded with the sadness and of course the hopes and the will to survive despites losing houses and source of incomes.

I knew, 2021 maybe a wake up call to all that everything and everyday we should al be prepared at all times in all costs. So, that we may be at least ready for what will happen today, tomorrow and next days, months, years, decades and centuries to come.

Still, a HAPPY NEW YEAR to us all.

May this 2022 brought us a lot of blessings and still be grateful for another year of grinding with the wheel of life.

Also, my hopes to all victims of the typhoon including my family that from time to time they may survived with the trials of life.
