COPIED ARTWORKS After successfully hosting a contest, one concerned user here told me that some entries were just copied from internet. It was so disappointing to know it coz I really did check the entries before including them on the list and I even disqualified some entries coz they we're just downloaded from internet. Indeed the OC isn't reliable as well, so we really need to do further research on our own. What's more disappointing is, i trusted the user(s) and he/she already gained many supporters, that means, those supporters trusted him/her as well. I won't specify the gender nor give the username, I don't want make a commotion here. As long as I know the truth, I'll just gonna ignore him/her. But if he/she will continue to do it, I will for sure report him/her directly to RC as plagiarizer(s). I felt like I was scammed after giving the prizes. And I'm one of the users here who strongly opposed to plagiarism and spamming so I felt guilty after knowing the truth. I hope the user(s) will have conscience about on themselves.

Well atleast we learn some lesson that s conduct a real investigation before we proceed to that thing. Its already happen so we cant do something about it now
Oh dear.. so sorry to read this. That is so disheartening :( Can you retract the prize that you have given? It is really sad that we have such individuals here who seemed not to have a conscience whatsoever and that their main goal to make money, no matter how, even if it is the dishonest way. I think this goes back to our discussion that if the individual does not provide details or proof of work, we should reject them?
The user is quite old here already, and been posting many artworks so I thought that the user can be trusted as many believes his/her art skills. Next time, I won't gonna approve the artworks of that user. Unfortunately, we can't retrieve the prize.. it was already upvoted.
:( Good thing you know now. I am intrigued how did they spot the copied artworks? I am weary of some of the posters here myself. Maybe you may want to reconsider naming them so that they don't continue to scam others? But I am not sure how is the best way to do it diplomatically. If only I am next to you and you can whisper to my ears.
I can't mention the name coz i don't want to have more bashers here, i already had enough after having that spammers hunt. I don't know if you know that. 😅 i am one of the hunters..but already unpublished the articles bout them Someone told me bout that and sent me proofs... i need to be more cautious now and strict in approving articles

The artwork was one on the top list. And I guess you know the user as he's/she's been here for quite long already. And already have many supporters , that's why I don't want to expose the name coz i might have many bashers. 😅
I think I know him/her. I will search the title of his/her entry on google to proved if my suspect is correct.
Search the picture not the title
Phone lang gamit ko e. Diko alam magsearch ng picture. Matagal na din kasi akong curious sa mga previous artwork nung pinaghihinalaan ko na yun e.
And that would be another issue against you 😅 Well, I searched the internet just now and guess what? Two of the top entries are not original. I won't comment which ones. I'm not sure kung ginaya lang nung isa yung mga nakita kong kaparehas na images kasi minsan yung iba nag dodraw sila na may ginayahan sa internet. While the other one (known blogger here) yung art niya eksaktong kaparehas nung nakita ko sa internet. Hahaaays 😪
Sya tinutukoy ko.. yung known blogger, yung isa alam ko redraw lng.. my proof kc yung ibang articles nyapanu nya ginawa.. yung isa disappointing tlga.. nagtiwala ako, kaht ikaw db kala mo legit mga gawa nya?
oh that was so sad a feeling of betrayal. I just read the contest only I did not join because I know for myself that I can't do it in terms of Art.

Hala..kung sino man sya,sana naman nakonsensya sya..dami pa naman naniwala sa kanya na user,even make it on final selection of the contest. He/she even have the guts to join your contest Ms.Jane knowing that your the one who have been pushing a campaign against plagiarism and spamming. Did that person did it for another purpose?or just after the prize?what a shame.
For sure just after the prize. I actually know the user for quite long now. And she's/he's been posting art articles, I thought all her/his artworks are legit, sad to say, some are just downloaded. 😥
Oh my. What a disgrace.I feel so sorry for you Ms.Jane after what you had done in putting so much effort in organizing this event and investing a great amount of cash for prizes you dont deserve this at all it was like a scam,why not report that to the support?bcoz that person even got the prize.
Nakuha na nya ang prize hndi na mababawi pa, and this contest isn't supported by RC, we all know that.. palampasin kkomuna ngayon, pro d ko na iaapprove pa artworks nya
That's so bad to hear madam, why they ended to do that, there is a lot of giveaways or contest here if they can't do drawing then don't enter to contest. This is not tolerable to do especially you spend money for that prize
I spent $20+ in that contest. And it's so sad to know that some on the top list has been plagiarized. And given that I strongly oppose to plagiarism, it's really so sad.
I hope that case will be solve. It is so bad to the others who do fair rules but did not win.

Oh no :( Sana naman ibalik niya yung prize. Mas deserve pala nung iba :( Ang dami nga pong nabibiktima ng plagiarism lalo na sa mga artworks. Kawawa naman yung artist na mismong naggawa nun

Yeah, I'll let this pass, but next time I won't gonna approve the artworks of that user. It's too unfair for those who tried their best to submit an artwork but didn't get to the top.

We are just humans, we cannot rely on our instinct and knowledge and they violators know the ways and means, how to escape and pass any hole. What have been done cannot be undone, all we can do is hope that those who plagiarize and spams will change, that they will realized, that a foul smell how deeply buried still the smell will find its way to be inhaled. Don't be guilty it is not your fault. You are in good faith hosting that contest. They are the guilty ones. Hoping for change.
I really they will read this and feel conscience about what they've done and hopefully they will stop it. They're gaining supports from the lies... why can't they be good here
It's clear that it's either people don't understand what plagiarism is or they choose to damn the consequences. This action by whoever was involved is a clear act of plagiarism and I am glad that you did the needful. We are need to be wary of either being culprits or victims in the act of plagiarism.

I have an idea whos that user, I noticed it long time ago 😅 Hindi ko alam kung sya nga talaga pero feeling ko lang 😄 If that user is quite long here and that user also posting an artwork article. Parang naniniwala na nga ako sa hinala ko 😐
