~~Happiness is the goal of life, and attaining happiness is the ultimate success.

We are doing everything with all our might to achieve the happiness we want. Happiness is link in achieving our goals and obtain the success. If we get what we want, we certainly feel this undescribable happiness inside us. We look for that golden emotion in whatever means we can.

Some people, as they want happiness in life, they used drugs, they drink, and buy lots of things that they often can't afford.

Sometimes we fake being happy. Why? Because we want people to see us positively, we don't want to be pitied by others. We want to be look as someone who's strong and brave.

Too much happiness can lead to problems. Researchers found that people who are extremely felt the happiness may not think creativitely and they most likely to take risks. Happiness can interfere our success. People who are happy can be less detail oriented. The attitude of a "happy go lucky" and seeing as everything is going to be fine or okay. Because they don't pay attention to details, they are not good in picking on subtle signs of deceit.

A happy person can only detect lying by 49% of the time based on research. While others whose unhappy can detect lying by 62% of the time. Being able to see the honesty of others is important.

Here are also some ways happiness can hurt us.

  • Too much happiness can make us less creative. When we are experiencing intense or extreme happiness, we no longer experiencing the same creativity boost.

  • Happiness is not suited in every situation. Our emotions help us adapt to new challenges and circumstances, and we know that happiness has a time a place just like anger helps us mobilizes to overcome obstacle, happiness helps us to pursue our goals and encourage us to do better. But just like we don't want to feel angry amd sad in every context, we should not also want to feel the happiness in every context.

  • Not all types of happiness is good for us. Happiness serves us a rainbow in our life. It brings the different colors and flavors to us. Sometimes it makes us feel energetic, sometimes it makes us slow down, and sometimes it makes us more generous. But not all types of happiness brings benefit to us. Example is pride, when experience too much pride it can lead us to negative social outcome like agressiveness towards others and being an antisocial. Some types of happiness may be a hinder our connection towards other.

  • Pursuing happiness can makes us unhappy. If we strive more to pursue happiness the less we may obtain it. The more we strive for happiness, the more likely we set our standards high. And if we can't achieve that standard the more likely we get disappointed.

We all want to find the happiness we want for our life, but it is important to pursue happiness with the right reason. Too much focus on achieving the happiness we want can actual self - defeating. Rather than trying to find happiness we should build acceptance with our current emotional state. We should realize that our emotions has its purpose and feeling happy all the time is not natural and helpful.

That's right. Sometimes people are too focused on achieving what makes them happy but other people are greatly affected by it. As a result, it becomes a selfish happiness and is no longer genuine.

Tama. Ganun ata talaga. Lagi tayong naghahanap ng kung ano yung sa tingin natin na kulang pa, kahit alam naman nating sapat na.

It's not a belief or a scientific thing because it's actually a FACT. As we get older we become more sad and it's really hard for us to be happy because your life had circulated on your job, on your career, in building your house, buying yourself a car and other too materialistic things happening when you get older and some compete their life with other people based on their profession and job in life which is so sad to believe

Oh understood. But I think it is depends on the person if you'll choose to compete on other person and depends your happiness on materialistic things. I think we shouldn't depend our happiness on those things.

Sabi nga, wag ipagpilitan ng sa ganun hindi masyadong masaktan. Happiness can be felt without forcing ourself. Hindi naman kailangan sobrang saya, sapat na na masaya lang. ๐Ÿ˜

A very informational article. They said that "Laughter is the best medicine" but if you are laughing without any reason, you need a medicine. Haha lol.

I actually finished reading this article and there's a question formed on my mind.

Is there any reason why people experience "too much happiness"?

$ 0.00

Maybe because there are lots of positive happenings in their life? That's why they are experiencing too much happiness. Haha ewan ko lang. Di ko pa rin naman nararanasan yang too much happiness na yan.
