When we meet someone and decide to create a couple, there are questions that cannot be left out: How long will we be together? Who loves whom more? Here is an exercise that will help you find the answer you are looking for.

We all seek happiness, but few of us know what it really is. Some think that happiness is having health, others think that it is having money, work, love, understanding, etc. However, if we were to define something that gives the feeling of receiving everything at once, many would select the kiss as the most important factor. Well, they are wrong. The best sensations and statistics are provided by the hug.

The hug is even used as therapy. It has many properties that can eradicate stress and its consequences.

Among the benefits of a hug is that of reducing the fear of death, loneliness caused by aging, anxiety and stress; improves the immune system, skin, increases self-esteem, patience, appreciation for others, controls blood pressure, etc.

Through a hug you can transmit and receive emotions such as: love, fear, gratitude, anger, sympathy or disgust with 83% effectiveness.

So, how do you go about finding out how long you'll last as a couple? Stand facing each other and hug for as long as possible. On average, every 10 seconds, indicates that they will last from 1 month to 1 year.

Following this metric, if they hug each other for 30 seconds, they could last from 1 month to 3 years. In this way, we could create this list:

  • 0:10 = 1 year

  • 0:20 = 2 years

  • 0:30 = 3 years

  • 0:40 = 4 years

  • 0:50 = 5 years

  • 1:00 = 6 years

  • 1:10 = 7 years

  • 1:20 = 8 years

  • 1:30 = 9 years

  • 1:40 = 10 years

  • 1:50 = 11 years

  • 2:00 = 12 years

…and so the list would go on.

The next question is more complicated, because you already know what the correct behavior in the exercise is. Try not to cheat.

Analyze the 5 biggest hugs that have been given, as a couple. Calculate who is (on average) the one who finishes hugging first. This, unless there are external causes that limit it (for example, you are going to be late for work and have to leave at that moment), generally indicates who is more in love in the couple. The more you hug, the better you love.

Now, you can try this exercise with your partner and leave, in the comments, how this experiment went for you. You can do a retroactive analysis of past relationships and evaluate its effectiveness.

Hopefully, the hug they give you lasts for several minutes! We all deserve someone who loves us and somebody to love.

Hug can also be used as therapy, well I think a partner will last as long as they love and can tolerate each other. I'll try out this hugging of a thing when I successfully get a partner
