I invite you to close your eyes and try to walk a little around your house, office, or on the street. If you're on the street right now reading this, you better not try Ahah. Would you be able to advance a few meters without causing an accident? I doubt very much that you can go even 10 meters without breaking a few decorations in your own house, or colliding with all the desks in the office.
Today I have seen several people who have no vision.
"Blind: are those subjects who have only light perception, without projection, or those who totally lack vision."
One was in the street, walking with his cane, which gives him a view of his surroundings and the sidewalk he is walking on. Eventually, all the other pedestrians helped him a little, but he was on his own in everything. How does he know when to walk, when he knows when to turn? It's amazing how they do it without hardly asking others. When he went to cross the street, he stood on the edge of it and immediately someone came to help him. This is the love of neighbor and solidarity.
The other one I saw was on a bus. In this, I realized that he did not ask anyone where they were. He simply counted all the stops and got off at the one that corresponded to him. Sometimes for a seer, it is difficult, because the buses stop outside the official stop and then you change if it is a new address, you do not have a GPS and they tell you that it is 4 stops further on.
It is extremely difficult for us who are sighted, but for them, the other senses strive to help their disability. They supply their eyes with their hands and are even able to read through braille. His hands become eyes and they outline each page and the touch with the book turns into words.
A few months ago, I finished a series called: See. It tells a very interesting story, about a future where the entire humanity has lost the ability to see. It is then that she is forced to survive and interact with each other in new ways. Imagine that nobody is able to see absolutely nothing. Until the moment when two twins are born who have vision and then they have to brave everything.
In the series, sometimes they do things that you don't know-how would be possible. They identify people by their scent and engage in hand-to-hand combat just by the sound of each other's weapons or movements. Many times when I was left with my mouth open and I did not believe that they were capable of doing those things. But sometimes you have to believe in the ability of these people to whom life has played a bad joke.
Living in total darkness or with simple flashes of colors at times, should not be easy. There has been no evidence that people blind from birth have a higher sense of touch than sighted people. I just think they develop it much faster when they use it, obviously because of the compelling need to do so.
Do you know any blind person or have you given help to any?
Thanks to @PVMihalache for renewing their sponsorship and to @FACTICAL for joining my sponsors. Thank you both very much.
What amazes me to those blind and deaf people is how they use their senses to interact with everything around them. And what's more amazing and inspirational is that person's with disability are more dedicated and eager to have a job than those people who doesn't have a problem with their bodies
Blind, deaf and people who can't speak, are amazing. We don't know what they are capable of doing. We rely on our eyes, ears and tongues, but they can't so they had to learn to rely on something else. The amazing thing is they know where to go, even if they have never ever seen daylight.
Yes I agree with this friend. There are a lot of people who couldn't see but their senses much higher compare to the humans who are not blind. Their senses, the sense of smell and touch. I heard it a lot from the people and that's the mostly they said.
There's a hidden strength or abilities in the inner being of every human, they are not discovered until the physical senses can no longer be of help.
God is wonderful.
Some senses of such kind of people are really sharp I have seen a family who is facing blindness but they are at home in their area or zone they handle everything incredibly
I have seen a number of blind persons in my life. Here blindness is more common among the aged don't know why. Also there are a few young folks who were born blind. They have a special school they attend and they can indeed read, with the help of braille. Funny enough, they seem not to require much help in their day to day life like unlike the majority with complete sight
