We choose an internet provider that we thought we will give us a quality service. Classes resume and my eldest really need the internet so she could attend her online class but lucky our provider suddenly have no connection and we do all the best we can to contact their support sytem but until yesterday no response from them.

Hello my dear friends i know you can relate to me on this rant of having a poor provider of internet. Hope you are all fine and im good situation whenever and wherever you are. Here is why i am making this rant over a poor provider of internet.

Disclaimer: This is pure based on my experienced and not intended to malign or harm others for this article.

Choosing the Provider

My brother is the one who chose this internet provider for our home. It was a huwaei optical terminal that was installed in our home with a hope that it will speed up our internet connectivity. April when it was installed to us. At first we do not have any problems the internet speed was fast and even there are 4 devices connected to the wifi there is no lacking in the connection. When it was rainy days we have encounter problems the speed keep on lagging and we need to disconnect to the wifi so only one could use it. I do not have any comment on that i know it is normal here in the philippines that internet do sometimes is like a snail so i have to give way to those badly needed the internet.

One time the wifi just disconnected without prior notice. Glad my brother contact them immediately and send some technician in our home to see what is the problem. To make it short it is their sytem who block our wifi so we could not use it thinking that we did not pay our monthly dues. Here in my place when it is time for billing these providers are fast as lighting to remind your bills to them. But we just have payed and our next due is for the next month. So we are reconnected again.

One time we tested not to pay on time for our due their company keep on texting us that if we will not pay they will cut our internet after 10 days they cut it and i pay it the next day after few hours they give us back our internet. So we know now that they have grace period before cutting their service. We continue to use our internet and we are used to their slow speed sometimes. But it was last friday i really got pissed off the internet was abruptly disconnected without prior notice. So my daughter immediatey contact their support system to gave our complain beacuse our due is still far away. My daughter keep waiting for their reply about an hour before someone chatted with her. Saying so on and so forth we did not get the answer we want. So i have contacted my brother it was him who contact also their support system telling him that they will send again someone to check on our device but sadly no one came yesterday they were the one who gave the date so i must say that they must have one word with that but alas i think they just forget it. So until now we are using mobile data so that my eldest could attend to her class and me so i can still log on to my dear noise and read. And upto now no one is coming from them i am tired to complain on their help desk. I really hope that all service provider here in my country will upgrade their system so we can cope up to other countries which have much reliable internet connection.

Author's Rant

Really my country is left behind when it comes to internet connectivity. The online class for this time is hard specially to those who cant afford the payment for the internet. It is pricey to have a fast reliable internet connection. Sadly our monthly payment of 1499 we do not get the speed of internet and the service we want from them. As i am writing this article my brother sent message to us that this afternoon someone from our provider will check our device and hopefully they can fixed it. But sadly upto this time that i published my article no one came to look at our device.

So this is it, i really don't know what it feels when you pay right price but you did not get the right service. But for me i really got irritated so much. Hope for the best in the near future.

I really feel you. The internet provider that I'm currently using is one of the biggest in the country. Yet its the most expensive and slowest one compared to others. I'm only using it because it's connected to the landline and my parents don't want any problems with the landline.

Kawawa talaga ung mahihina net ate lalo na sa mga wfh at student, ako rin kanina nakaexperience sa kaklase ko na mahina net nyabtas sinabihan sya ng masakit ng teacher ko. Parang ako yung natear apart sa narinig ko

Yun ang mahirap kung hindi nakakaintindi ang guro about sa internet connection natin dito sa bansa as a future teacher mahirap ang online dahil relate ako sa online ko natapos ang second course ko jusme minsan ang hina ng signal di ko maintindihan teacher ko. Kaya sana maayos yang mga provider dahil ang mahal nila maningil.

I thought only here in our place experienced that slow connection because the network you've mentioned was just new here in our place and still under maintenance and sometimes no connection at all... but even there in your place also experiencing the poor internet connection as well?

Yes po kuya grabe pagong ang signal lalo na pag umuulan. Kaya nkakainis po na ang magal ng fee di naman sulit.

I can relate, it is always been my problem with Globe. Globe do not answer chat messages, the one will answer is a bot. I know how frustrating it is because it happens to me most of the time especially when it is raining.

Naku! Problema talaga sa Pilipinas ang internet connection. Ang mamahal ng bayad pero hindi maganda service. Kawawa ang mga estudyante na may online classes.
