It's no longer a Secret...
Although some people may disagree, I believe that a secret is no longer a secret once it's known to two people. If you tell someone, you are sure to have also told someone else as well. Before you know it, several people know about it already and you will feel betrayed. A secret becomes public property before you even know it.
Several times we've seen friends betray each other. This year alone so many celebrities in the music and movie industries have been betrayed by friends. Some have their sex tapes circulating all over the internet after they shared them with a lover or on a secret Snapchat group with friends. Though recording themselves while they were at it is something I still find to understand, sending it to someone else with the belief that they won't show others is another thing I find so hard to understand.
A lady who has been missing for some time now was found dead some days back. A note was found beside her and in it, she talked about how a friend took her phone and copied a video of her being intimate with someone who isn't her fiancee. She shared the video with some friends and it got to the Fiancee, she couldn't face the disgrace so she decided to take her life.
If you want to keep something a secret then it must be kept to just one person. By one person I mean even your Social media accounts should have it, be it a picture, video or voice note. Don't even save them to archive. And remember the best way to let the public on a secret is to tell a single person.
We live in a world where people hack accounts easily. You might think you have your password saved and secured but a single mistake can lead to a disaster. Also, sharing it
However, when things are shared with other people, they will become public in no time.
This is how certain documents, photos and information end up on the internet, out of control and exposed to the public.
Always think things through before sharing them with anyone.
Once you've shared your secret with the world, there would be no turning back and it won't be long before you are affected directly.
If your photos and videos have already made their way onto sites like Facebook, then you're one step away from having your business all over the internet. However, if they are still stored on your computer, phone or somewhere else then it's not too late to act.
Even if you have only partially shared something accidentally or forgotten that you have shared it, you can take steps right away and stop further exposure. After all, prevention is better than cure. Protect your privacy by removing all traces of your private files from the internet ASAP. If you think the privacy these sites promise is true, you're deceiving yourself.
Truly, there is much joy that comes from sharing a secret, the thrill of telling someone something that only you know, feeling that the world has become a little smaller when you let your secret loose into it. Though once something is shared with someone else and they tell someone, then that secret is no longer secret. And once that secret is told to more than two people, then you'll quickly learn that secrets are not so secret anymore.
Bugs are like secrets, once something is known to a select few, it's no longer a secret. If you have ten bugs or less and you give them to one person and they tell four people and they tell another four people and you think the circle stops there but it doesn't, because those four people are likely to tell four other people and so on.
The first thing you should do is never tell yourself you are going to tell someone. This can easily get out of hand and when it does, you are going to have a hard time undoing what you have done. Instead of telling yourself, you are going to tell someone, think about what you will do if that person asks you if there is something they need to know that you haven't told them yet.
Remember, every action has a repercussion, so think deeply before leaping.

Well this is true, I remember putting my school status on Facebook and someone I hadn't seen for the past 16 years knew I was schooling in my institution due to my Facebook profile
