Hundred  $10 makes a thousand dollars

They say working is hard, but without work, one can't sustain his life.   When we plan for a business or to be an entrepreneur there seem to be a lot of hurdles and obstacles that get in the way. I have seen some friends and family quit on their dreams because someone said it's too hard to achieve, but if you keep working hard at it you will succeed.

He who works more deserves more than he who works less- that was before. It’s “he who works smart deserves more than …” and this is why we should never give up on our dreams.   I was once told by someone that hardship brings out the best in human beings. But it doesn’t necessarily have to be hard before you buckle up and strive. A droplet of water makes a river, with the little you have you can start something.

He also said that if you're persistent with what you are doing you will eventually get to where you want to be,  All it takes is time and endurance.

In the book called forgettable law of life, It is said that persistence is key to success; it is the difference between success and failure.   Anyone who has ever accomplished anything has done so because of a combination of talent and persistence. Be inspired, persist and achieve your goals.

A friend explained something to me yesterday and from it, I was able to bring up today’s topic. He said the problem many have is that they want to have a bucket full of water without waiting to on the tap. Let’s take an example. A and B are friends who are both aspiring to be the best in their respective fields. A got a Job that pays $1000 per month while B  opened a shop and sell wares.

Mr B is not happy when he heard the amount A makes. He only makes an average of $250 every week. $250 every week equals $1000 every month but B isn’t satisfied. He left his shop in search of a white-collar job and got one that pays $1200. Coincidentally A stopped working at that time and opened a shop. Within a few months, A got a car and bought land. How is this possible? He took the risk of opening a shop and diversifying. He was selling different things, he studied people living in that area, sorted what they needed and provided it for them. So many $10 sales summed up to $1000 and it increases.

The same can be said for writers on this platform. Though some are complaining about earning less or not as much as before, some sort of alternatives. They looked for sites where re-publishing one's work is allowed and they re-post their articles from here. Though in the beginning, it might be tough, trying to make a name in a new environment but they didn’t give up and now they are reaping the reward. Even if it’s $5 they earn here and there,$5 on five different platforms each day is $25 and some days things might even be better and they will earn more.

Conclusion

As I said earlier, the problem many have is not starting with the little they have or not starting at all. we all want to get to the top, but before you get to the top, you have to start from somewhere.  As the saying goes “The big tree you see today was once a small seed”. If the pay isn’t good, try to improve yourself. Invest in yourself, acquire more knowledge and try to maximize your time.

When you finally get to the top: You can't get any higher, as you can only be as high as the highest but always aspire to be better than you were yesterday. If you fail to improve, you will fall down the food chain for those behind you are aspiring to dethrone you. Never stop learning!
