Free ride at EDSA
I only found out recently that there's this kind of program by the government. They called it 'Edsa Carousel, Libreng Sakay' from Monumento Caloocan to PITX Paranaque. I think even in MRT3 the ride is free. I'm not sure when it started but they say it was extended until the end of this month.
Good thing about this program is that many commuters who used to go to work daily and ride in a bus and train can save money and time and those drivers has their fixed salary. I just hope it will be extended .
And today, we were able to have a free ride going to mall in Quezon City. I was happy coz I was again ride in a bus hehe and it's not crowded. No traffic too coz it's has it's own bus way.

We played this game just for fun with no chances of winning eversince.😊 Look at Picachu's face, it's like teasing us coz we can't grab any toys after many tries.😅
This game will also test one's patience and focus coz no matter how strong your grip was, in the end the stuff will just fall before you get it.
My son wanna try more until he get that lego box but he give up when no more coins left. I said we should not waste anymore coins instead let's just buy that toy he want from our loses.
What's important is that he enjoys playing with not so big loses.
Next time we will try the claw machine hack and we'll see if it'll work.😊

Snack's satisfied
I was a little bit tired when I got home from work but it's all gone when I see these snacks waiting for me😊.
These are 'espasol'and 'hopia ube' from my sis-in-law. They went from an outing and she gave me this 'pasalubong'. We both love this kind of snacks that's why I'm enjoying these right now.
And because these were kinda heavy snack, I think I'm getting full now with my ice coffee☺
Thanks to my thoughtful in-law..My tummy is satisfied.😊

Black cat, Trixie
Does it looks like a female cat? Well, he's actually a male cat but my friend named him 'Trixie'.. 😻. She brought him to work today coz nobody will attend to him at home. Good thing, pet is allowed and should be at cage. But we let him roamed around coz he is not that too naughty.
It's unusual for me to see someone taking care of a black cat. Maybe because of the myth that is saying black cat brings bad luck. Do you still believe in that myth?
I think that was just an old belief and in reality black cats are actually brings goodluck.
Trixie was adopted since young but he grows healthy coz he was well taken care of. He even took a bath everyday that's why he smells good😻
I started to love black cats too but Snowball is still my favorite😻
Skyscraper with elevator
Another activity that he accomplished today. Because it's holiday and no online class he prefer building again from his legos. And here's the output.
He called it skyscraper with elevator. Look how he is too serious and too focus in what he is doing coz he's excited to finish it and see the result. But he asked for a help in tying a string for the lifter. And I was again amazed with his creativity.
And that's how another day has done. We just stay at home with our own activities.

Instant massage
A gentle touch by my friend relieves the pain in my palm and wrist.
This afternoon I suddenly felt pain in my wrist then palm. I thought maybe it's because I'm washing my hands right away after biking, but that's not the case always. Maybe it's just suffer from a minor sprain.
I'm trying to self massage and rotate it but I feel it's getting worse. Then my friend who is also my colleague notice that I'm not comfortable and she gave me a gentle massage. She's really good at it and just before our duty end, she massage my both hands.
Now that I'm home, my wrist felt better. I didn't feel anymore pain after I bike. Maybe my poor hands just needed to relax sometimes and a gentle massage is a perfect way. Thanks to my dear friend and to efficascent oil☺
Sunday's snacks..
Happy 1st day of May and 'Happy Labor day' . I hope many applicants can get their job today from different job fairs.
How are you spending your Sunday and holiday?
Me, I'm kinda occupied this morning and now it's relaxing and movie time with my son.
And for our afternoon snacks, I chose to have this mixed nuts, coated green peas and potato chips with my ice coffee.. Who loves this kind of snacks?😊
I was just craving for something salty and I don't wanna cooked any snacks coz I'm a bit tired so I thought of having this snacks which I think is also perfect pick-a while watching.Do you agree guys?😊
I-play
Our kind of Saturday. We go to nearby mall coz I've something to buy here. Since it's Saturday and no class, my son comes with me. And he told me that he miss the kids playground.
So I let him play first. So since we came here so early, he's solo playing☺.. By watching him there, I just can't imagine that he's already a grown kid..
When I saw that playground I told him that it looks like you're not fitted there anymore, you're now a big boy. haha, then he said it's okey😊But he loves that balloon slide and now he's enjoying it..
I'm waiting for the time to be over.. Now I'm starving☺
'Lelut balatung'
That's how they called it in Pampanga, others called it 'tinotong' or simply a 'ginataang munggo'
This is my first time to try it. Usually I only cooked 'ginataang mais' and this time I want to try using mung beans.
This is one of my favorite dessert that my mother always prepare during my childhood and up until now whenever we see each other. And I said to myself that I must give it a try too and introduce to my son.
And it was just easy to cooked. Same process with ginataang mais except for that the mung beans should be toast and cracked it. And I use a mug as an alternative for the rolling pin to crack the beans.
And here's the result, our Friday 'munggo day' entry.. My 'ginataang munggo', made with glutinous rice cooked in coconut milk, sugar and toasted mung beans.😊
Can be serve hot or cold with coconut milk toppings😋

That's a warm welcome greetings posted on cashier's window at my son's school. And for me they truly share a positive vibes to those coming out there..
It's like also a reminder....'Please pay your monthly tuition'.. ,in a nice way..hehe
But honestly I love that school coz all the staffs and teachers are accomodating and kind and my son enjoys to study there.
So I drop by to school earlier to pay my monthly obligation. It's a little bit late this month coz I forgot. 😊My son just reminded me and told me that tomorrow is the distribution of their grade cards and I must pay first his tuition 😊

'Our Moringa is growing'
My father was right, after a week you can see small leaves are growing.
In our province we have plenty of Moringa plant. I then asked my father if it's just easy to grow so I can also plant one even in a pot. Then he made a branch cutting which is an inch in diameter and about 3 feet height.
I brought this stem when we get back to city and planted here in a plant box. So after more than a week of observing, this morning I'm glad to see a small branches of leaves are growing. 😊
I'll be waiting for a few more weeks to harvest and use it on my vegetables and soup dishes coz this is really nutritious and with many health benefits.😊
King Mango + Salted egg combo
It's my first time to see and hold this variety of mango. I was amazed coz it's really big, it's like a papaya fruit that I picked last time. It was brought from Nueva Ecija province by my in-laws yesterday.
They said it's 'King Mango', I wonder if it's also the 'Carabao Mango' coz of the shape. Have you encountered this kind of mango?
We have also Indian Mangoes so I brought some in the office, and with this I thought of pairing it with salted egg and tomatoes so we can have something to share for our lunch with my colleagues.

Lego Gun
A Monday vibes before the start of his online class. He wanna flex his new lego masterpiece which he built for a day.. And I was amazed coz it's really look like a toy gun.
And becoz of that, he pose and I click📸😊
And what makes me laugh is when he do the trending 'gunshot dance'.. ☺ He told me to hold the gun and point at him then he started to do the gunshot dance haha..
He looks funny coz he poses first, and look at his uniform it's the one being gunshot coz he can't button it anymore😅
A bright night sky
It was a Saturday night before Easter. The moon is really bright and it was just lovely to stare at the sky. With friends and family, we used to chit-chat outside while watching the sky.
Moon gazing or star gazing was really calming and relaxing while the place is also peaceful. It's only when I'm in the province that I can truly appreciate the beauty of sky at night when moon and stars are presents.
I can't do that in the city coz here is mostly street lights or buildings unless we're on the rooftop.
Oh I miss to visit our place again..😊

Behind the beautiful flowers
It's a lovely cat, Snowball😻, who's in her favorite place.. I was sweeping fallen leaves outside and she's also there, overlooking for something. So I get my phone and get a chance to capture her beautiful pose..😻
But aside from my lovely cat, there is this lovely flower with her. It's called hypercicum plant with 'mystical red star' flower, coz the flower is like star.
First it will bloom in yellow flower then it turns red. Then that little green fruit in the middle will turn black and that's the time it's ready to pick up and plant again.

Saluyot & Squash dish
It's weekend again and my schedule of cooking vegetables for my son. During weekdays he prefer fried dish so I told him that every weekend it should be vegetables or soup dishes.
So for our lunch today, i cook 'ginisang saluyot and squash with chicharon'.. Very simple recipe yet nutritious. These vegetables were from my mother's backyard that I brought last week..
Glad that my son is no longer veggie picky eater unlike before, it's hard to fed him vegetables.. I think he now realized that it's best for his health.
Big foot
When these shoes are for you but actually wasn't meant for you...oh.. so sad..
These shoes were from my cousin overseas and delivered to our house last time. I was surprised but it's epic failed. Those are not fitted to my feet haha.. She thought we have the same size but actually mine is more bigger which is size 9. Can you imagine that?hehe.
Sometimes that's the problem of having a big size of feet. I can't wear cute sandals and shoes and sometimes what I want is out of stock haha..
So goodbye to these shoes. They are ready to be deliver to my older sis who has a smaller feet than mine. 😊

Friendly dog
His name is 'Pocholo' and he's the one and only dog of my parents in the province. Since they are only 3 in the house ( my mother, father & Pocholo) , they truly treated him as family member too. He's a sweet, kind and a friendly dog (but not to enemy😊)
During our stay there, my mother introduce him to my son. I think Pocholo likes my son and wants to be friend with him. He jump to his lap, then kiss & smell him while my mother is there to guide.
My son is a little bit afraid coz he was once bitten by a dog but since Pocholo is friendly, he overcome his fears and they became friends and now close to each other..
Oh I miss Pocholo🐕🐶😊
Bike-friendly parking
Usually you can see some bike racks to park bicycles but this one is different. I always noticed this parking area whenever I passed by to this warehouse and got a chance to take a picture of it.
At first I thought it was not safe for the bikes to park outside the building. But when I stopped and look at it closely, they are all lock and secured. And aside from that there is a security guard monitoring at the gate.
This is just an exclusive parking of bikes and motorcycles for warehouse employees and it was a nice idea to have an improvised parking this way in this small space.
Assorted Kakanins
Only kakanin lovers will understand how I felt when I open this box of assorted sticky sweets🥰..
It was given by our generous boss. Actually, it was a gift from his visitor and he shared it with us for our morning snacks.
And just a perfect time, it's coffee break and these snacks is best paired with coffee..
I really love all these flavors which includes purple yam, biko, maja, kutsinta and sapin-sapin.. And definitely will taste all of it😊

Monday Class
It feels like a week break is too fast and now they're back to online class again. I asked my son if he still has a hangover from vacation but it's not a big deal to him. He's excited to study. ☺
It's different when you're working, Monday is sometimes kinda manic after a long vacation.☺
Anyway, I've prepared a snack for him, an egg sandwich, and that drink is mine coz it's ice cold coffee..😊

My eyes has been full with greeny sights once again.
The weather today is kinda gloomy and it's nice to have a little walk in the field. It's relaxing to have this kind of view in the morning.
Last day of our stay here and later we'll travel back to city. Before that of course I gather some fuits or veggies that I can pack.😊
And one of those are papayas. It has a lot of fruits and I have picked up the big already. I get some green and red chilli too.
With so much something to harvest from here, it's like we shop from the market again ☺

Guava hunting!
One of our guava tree is placed here near the terrace. It has lots of fruits and are really eye-catching. So from here, my son pick up some fruits using the picking tool with net. He was happy to his harvests.
Tomorrow we will continue picking and will go to neighbor's yard coz some of the fruits were on their side. We can't get well under it coz my father installed a tarp as an additional shade during their siesta time.
Who love guavas? I don't eat the fruits as a snack but will use them in cooking when fully ripe.
Friday dessert
My friend came to our house today and brought some of their newly harvest young coconut. I thought of making 'buko juice' but I've change my mind, I've made fruit salad instead.
It was really hot this day and this dessert is good refreshment.. My fruit salad is just simple made of ube macapuno condensed milk, all purpose cream, kaong, nata de coco, whole corn, fruit cocktail and young coconut.
My mother is curious with the taste of my salad coz she said she haven't eaten a purple salad yet. Haha

Picking up veggies
Because of the rain these past few days my mother's plants and vegetables looks lively again after some dry days.
She has planted 'saluyot' and eggplant in the backyard and others like sweet potato is in the field. Now she's picking up some to cook for us later.
I'm happy that we can eat fresh vegetables again. In the city I always buy 'saluyot' to put in my dishes like 'ginisang munggo' and 'sinabawang gulay'..
I'm free from cooking during our stay here coz I wanna enjoy my mother's cooked food for us.😊
Ready to go
It's travel time! No work and no class until Sunday so we will be having a kinda long vacation. My parents are excited to see us and be with their grandson again.
Before it was just easy for them to visit in our place and see us often, but now they are very careful and don't want to travel yet since the covid19.
So good thing also, we're no hassle in commuting today unlike before we had to wait in a long line just to take the bus during holy week.
Now, we're just waiting for our friends to pick us up coz as I've mention last time they will also come with us in our province😊
Snowball da meeowdel
This is her favorite spot every morning. She's under the shade of bougainvillea and just love sitting there beside the plants.
That stand where he sat was supposed to be for the pot but since she loves it there, I just remove it and alloted that space for her. You see, she's kinda spoiled cat😻
But I really like her looks today. Not a camera shy type. So I thought of making her my model of snake plant and bacularis plant which is behind her😻

Have you ever played Tic-Tac-Toe game?
Seeing some kids playing on the streets earlier bring back some memories when I was young😊. They occupied the whole street and became their playground.
The boys were playing 'patintero' on the other side and many kids are watching. Then I saw these girls coz I'm curious what they are playing. I asked them what they called it, then they say it's X.O game.
I was a little bit confuse coz I don't think I've played it so often before. What's on my mind is the S.O.S game. I thought it's the same with X.O but it's not😊
I watch them playing and never ask more question about it coz they might laugh with their ajuma☺. But I love these kids. They're enjoying and still love physical games other than gadgets.

Got a free 50 pesos Gift Cheque from purchasing my son's vitamins. I think I've claimed many times when they have a promo coz I always buy some Unilab products like vitamins.
Good thing this GC can be redeemed not only for unilab products but also for other items at Mercury store.
I didn't use it right away coz I wanna show it to my son. He's happy and told me he can buy an ice cream with this when we stroll again and drop by to Mercury. 😊

Green case
Finally I got my new cellphone case. The old one got broken months ago and I just fix it so it's still usable. I wasn't able to replace it coz my favorite green case is not available online, so I've waited 'til I found it again.
I didn't bother to look for another coz I really love the design and texture of this one. The broken case is lasted for almost 3 years and I was satisfied to its service & quality😊 for its cheap price which cost only $1.92 or 99 pesos.
