Sleep over
When was the last time that you spend a night in your friend's house?
As far as I recall, I'm always doing it when I'm still single. Not worrying for any responsibilities at home. 😊
Now that I have a child, I don't think I need do it again....alone...coz this time, it's a package deal. My son should be with me😊
Tonight, we were invited by my friend to sleep over at their house. It's weekend and at the same time she's alone coz all her housemates were on vacation.
Just before my friend told me to bring my son with me, I thought of that too. 😊 Anyway he's also my friend's godson and she also wanted to see him.
It's his first time to come here and look how he already feel at home.😊

This kid do. But I think with or without an eye mask he always had a sound sleep haha. We found an eye mask from his dad's stuffs which is an aiplane sleep mask. He thought of wearing it for how many nights now whenever he go to bed.
And as for him, he fell asleep easily because it's dark. It's a kid friendly coz it's not too tight and I think he is comfortable. And it's obvious that he has a sound sleep now coz of this or it's was just on his mindset I guess.. ☺
Well whatever.. As long as you have a peaceful mind then you'll get a wonderful sleep.😴

Bright sun, dark sky
It's the kind of weather that I've taken earlier at the stoplight. Looks like it's about to rain once the sun's disappear. I was praying to 'please don't pour it yet until I got home'.
And thankfully, I'm home now and it didn't rain yet but it's still dark. But still I'm confident while driving not too fast coz I have my raincoat with me😊

It's a holy week break next week and our work is up to Tuesday only. So on Wednesday we will travel again going to our hometown and visit my parents.
This time, two of my friends will come with us and chose to spend holy week in our place instead of going to beach. They knew that I can't go with them so they just decided to tag along with us haha..
Since my parents were expecting us to come, they bought watermelon today and it's reserved for us.
Last month he sent me a photo of some newly harvest oval watermelon with yellow color inside. Now, those that harvested from farm are round and red inside. I hope these were also sweet. Can't wait to taste them😊.
4 in 1 mech Titan
Since he received his legos, he loves to play it everyday and just building randomly. Then he looks for a different one in youtube and thought of assembling this figure through video tutorial.
He built first the car, digger, helicopter and space ship. Then when he combine all these transformers he created these 4 in 1 mech Titan.
He was really happy with the result. It's like one of those his collections and he doesn't want to disassemble it yet. He told me to take care of it if I want to hold it haha..
Nice one, I also love the outcome.

Commute day
It's been raining early this morning and no signs that it will stop before I left home so I decided to commute instead of biking going to work.
So after a long time, I ride on a jeepney again. And look, it feels like I rented the whole jeepney coz I'm the only passenger hehe. It's an unsual day coz there are only few commuters. And I think it's my lucky day.😊
Another thing that I've enjoyed from commuting today is that there is a music playing in the jeepney and most of the songs are old medleys. It feels like I was listening from my father's music haha..

I was preparing my son's koko krunch cereal with powdered milk when we heard a taho vendor shouting 'tahoooo...' Then he ask me if he can have that instead of cereal.
So he gave me the cereal and I paired it with just black coffee. I didn't put a creamer coz the partner is already sweet.
He enjoys his taho coz the vendor put a lot of sweet syrup. He said the vendor know's the kids loves sweet that't why he put a lot of it😊

Habibi da puppy
Sometimes I don't know what to feel whenever I scolded our pets. I feel sorry for them yet I wanna laugh coz of their expression.
Just like our puppy Habibi, look at her face in the first photo. She looks afraid of me coz I told her to just sit and do not follow me coz I might not notice her and we might both get hurt. She's a little bit naughty and playful.
But right after that we make fun of her and she's happy again. I also let her ride on my bike coz she likes there.
Despite everything, I know they also feel that they are part of the family too.😻🐶
Caturday cuddling
When Snowball was pregnant and newly gave birth, she was very sensitive and doesn't want to be touch. There was an incident that my son's face got scratch by her when they were just playing.
But now, she's no longer moody. Maybe Snowball is inlove again😻 She's behave and loves cuddling. She's still not allowed to go outside by day so she was playing with my son for now and later maybe you will see her sleeping.😻

Happy April Pool's
Yeah not a fool but pools coz this month is a month which most of families and friends were having their bonding, either by swimming in a pool or outing in some beaches.
After years of restrictions, we are free to go out again provided we have pennies in our pocket😊 For sure many resorts had their entrance or accomodation fee raised.
This picture was sent to me by a friend who's inviting me if I can go swimming with them on holyweek holidays. But I say I'm not yet sure coz we will go to province on that date.
How about you friends, do you already have plans with friends or family this month of April?
A gift for himself
He's not the type that always ask for a gift or toys but once he has something that like the most and want to play, he's eager to have it.
Just like this 'lego classic 10696' .. Lately he's fond with some lego series and games and thought of this toy too. He ask me if I can buy it for him and said I should not worry coz he's the one who will pay for it haha..( sana ol)..
He already knows that I'll not buy it right away or without any ocassion so he volunteer to use his save money. This toy cost almost $32, and just a perfect time, Lazada is celebrating an anniversary so I save from their sale and got it for only $28.
Now he's playing with it and already built this train. It's good and I'm glad that he has something to play again besides cellphone.😊
The store keeper, Snowflakes
I'm glad to see this little kitten again. She's one of Snowball's baby and rehome a month ago to her new family who also love cats. It's obvious that she was well taken care of, she grows healthy and beautiful😻
They have also mother cat who looks after her.
I went to the store earlier and I saw her. The owner told me that she loves to stay there and entertain some customers. Well she really brings good luck coz they always have a buyers. 😻
We found a new road for cycling and strolling.
This is part of Malabon City, which is still near our place. Just exploring a new road coz I saw many cyclist going this way and I follow them hehe.
What's good in this road is that there are only few vehicles passing by and no big trucks so no worry and it's perfect for biking.
Me and my son enjoyed the part of going down coz I don't need to pedal, but it's a little struggle on our way going back. I need to stop 2 times to get some strength going up with my back ride haha..
And on this part of photo, we're under the shade of Mango tree. And look there is also a mango tree in the middle of those two buildings. It's nice to still see it right there and they don't cut it down. Maybe they don't find it as obstruction and they love mangoes coz it has also many fruits.😊

This is so hilarious just like the two of my favorite comedy kseries 'Mr. Queen'& 'Vincenzo'.
It made me smile & fell inlove on romantic scenes😊 and laugh hard on their comedy acting especially on Shin Hari's team. They were really funny on Episode 9. Casts were all good.
Tonight is the airing of episode 10 and still waiting on Netflix😊 It's almost finish coz it will be ended next week for up to 12 episode only.
It really felt good watching this kind of series at night but it cannot make you fall asleep easily☺

Frostville Ice Candy
Aside from Aice and Joyice which is popular in selling ice pops and ice cream, this frosville ice candy is also best seller in most of the store here. It's just perfect in beating the heat during this hot season.
The price for each is only 10 pesos($0.19). They have different flavors like avocado, cookies and cream, choco fudge, melon, strawberry, buko pandan and others. And for this afternoon my colleague and I bought avocado and cookies and cream flavors. One is not enough so we bought 2 pieces each😊
This ice candy is really creamy and delicious..
When I check their page, it's only available in NCR and other nearby provinces. And they are open for reseller with the price of 8 pesos each. I'm thinking if I'll avail on their offer☺
Preparing for fruit shake
We have lots of bananas which came from Nueva Ecija brought by my in-laws relatives. Last Friday those were all green, and now they turn yellow but only some were ripe which is good for smoothie..
I want to make banana shake, then I thought of adding apple, cucumber and carrot coz my son loves it. I already cut them in small pieces and put in the fridge first to serve cold later. As what i usually do, I added evaporated milk and honey to sweetened.
This is perfect refreshment later..😊

'Tinolang gulay'
This is how my son called on this vegetables dish. He said that the broth is taste like my chicken tinola 😊 Maybe because of the enhanced flavor. I used to cut the ginger in small and thin strips in every dish so I can also chew some of it.
In our province it's called 'bulanglang' or just a 'sinabawang gulay' coz you just need to boil the veggies in ginger, garlic, onions, tomatoes & green chili. Then added pepper, fish sauce and salt.
My son is not a veggie lover but as he grow, I notice some changes to food that he likes to eat. Good thing that he's learning to love vegetables. So we agreed that, every weekend I should prepare different vegetable dish for him.

We went out for cycling just in nearby village coz we will try again if the back seat is okey. And yes it's strong enough to carry my back ride😊
Then we stop at 711 coz he wanna have something to drink or whatever he wants to eat. My son looks more tired than the driver, he's sweating haha. So he ordered that vitasoy drink and siopao.
While we're having a snack, a cat jump in our seat. But he was not that type of asking for food. He just sat there and behave. Its eyes are beautiful in color orange. The staff says that the cat is always there as if it's claiming that it's his new territory. So they just let it and sometimes give him food.
I try to share my siopao, but he doesn't like it. ( I whisper to my son that the cat doesn't like siopao coz the filling is made of cat☺) . But I can't fooled him, he strongly believe that it's not made of cat coz it says it's chicken asado siopao😊
Foods album
I have this habit of taking photos of the food I cook and saving it on separate album in my cp so whenever I just want to cook something again I'll just look at it.
I just noticed that most of the foods that I cook are snacks and mostly 'kakanins' ☺ Those are kalamay sa latik, bilo-bilo, ginataang mais, different flavors of puto pancakes and maja. There is also halayang ube & pichi-pichi. All of these were my favorites.
I have made also purple salad, milo jelly, and gelatin with cheese toppings.
Those were usually just made by mother before and I'm glad I've learned all of it, and it's just started during lockdown. Almost everyone have learned something new while staying at home.
Anyway, maybe tomorrow, I'll pick one to prepare for snack. 😊

Customized rear seat
My son's grandpa let us borrowed his bike coz he wanna show that he made a rear seat so my son can ride along with me comfortably.
He's excited and we tried it earlier when I got home. On our way he's enjoying the ride. But I felt something's unusual. The back seat is wiggling. We stop and checked it, and I think the screws has loosen coz my son is too heavy haha..
We came back walking. Then his grandpa checked it immediately. He told us that he will fix it first and we can borrow it again on Saturday..
Lego fan
After doing his assignments, now my son is in the mood to draw again. With the guide of tutorial in youtube he drew one of his favorite character in Lego movie. It's name is Emmet, the Master Builder or The Special according to him, he was inspired by its character thats why he like to draw it.
But after that, he said he will also draw other characters like Lloyd. So, I just let him now and will not ruined this moment while he's doing an activity. It's better like than just always playing and watching on cellphone.
Do you love to draw too or just your kids? Coz as for me, I never got interested to it.😊
Extra challenge
These past few days, whenever I go to work it's an extra challenge for me to ride on my bike under the scorching sun. I can feel the heat to my skin though it's still early but it's already hot.
So sometimes, I stop by and drink water to quench my thirst.
Let me just share to you, earlier there is this biker that I overtake two times, then he overtake me back and told me "Hi Miss, you're driving too fast".
I didn't mind him and continue driving, but in my mind I answered "Hey, I'm not driving too fast, you're just too slow for me to follow you and hello we're in the middle of the highway and not just strolling"☺
Bougainvilleas on sidewalk
It was my first time to pass by on this street and these bougainvilleas caught my attention coz the flowers has different colors. I stopped by just to watch and capture the beautiful flowers😊 .
Usually, I've seen only magenta color coz we have that in house, but here there are white, orange and pink. It really add beauty to the surrounding, but this road is not as busy as the other streets, so there are only few passerby that's why maybe they just planted bougainvilleas on the sidewalk.
But nothing is more beautiful than seeing our BCH always in green color.. We all💚 it.😊

Monday home duty..
No office work today, so it's mom's duty at home. Even the weather is too hot today, I cooked chicken tinola so we can have soup. I put lot of ginger, then chilli fruit and leaves so it's extra hot😊. And for chicken parts, I pick only chicken wings and liver. Do you love that parts too?
After the hot lunch, I also made a dessert. Oops it's not a 'fish on ice cream tub' prank,☺ but it's fruit salad this time.. Well it's just for refreshment that is made of fruit cocktail, condensed milk and all purpose cream only. Enough to beat the heat..

Watermelon season
I thought it would be on April, but my father called today and told me that in our province they were harvesting watermelon already.
He ask when we will come home coz usually during our summer vacation there, melons and watermelons are plenty and we always make some fruitshakes.
He directly go to the farm during the harvest and bought these watermelon in cheap price. These were only 200 pesos for14 pieces, and he got also some free. 😊
These watermelon are just another variety with oval in shape and color yellow inside, but it's so sweet according to my father..

Dine-In
After a long time we're able to have a dine-in in his favorite fast food. During restrictions, I just ordered online or pick-up for take out whenever he likes to eat jobee foods.
And now we're here in our favorite spot whenever we had a dine-in before. It's on 2nd floor and near the window. He just loves to see some cars and trains passing by.😊
This branch is also memorable to him coz this is the place where we held his 7th birthday last 2019. It's quite different now, coz parties are still not allowed here.
Have you already seen an Ivatan House?
Lucky those who have travelled in Batanes. There are many beautiful destinations in that place and I've only seen those from a movie "You're my Boss" (featuring Coco Martin & Toni G. )
The Ivatan houses are stones houses built by Ivatan people in Batanes. Those houses are made of limestone with cogon grass roof. The houses have a unique style that made it beautiful.
And for my son's art today, they draw an Ivatan house. My son chose this simple one and submitted it with picture of him holding his drawing.😊
During the summer vacation days..
Too hot? Not a problem. In our province there's a lot of trees that gives shades and help to cool the surrounding. My father use to install a swing under the trees. He also made a basketball court on that field so kids can still play till afternoon.
My son have enjoy playing basketball with his friends. Then when it's about time to rest, he also enjoy relaxing on the swing while watching in his tablet and he fell asleep during that time.😊

Like cats and dogs..
I just remember some mothers tell to their chidren when fighting, "you're like cats dogs", means they always quarell , argued or fight angrily.
But do cats and dogs were really always like that? What do you think with these two babies? Don't be fooled by their cute and innocent faces hehe.
As I observed, when kitten 'Star' is alone she's just quite and behave, but our puppy 'Habibi' is always active, naughty, and playful. One time we let them together to play but Habibi always fight with Star. And Star always lose coz she's too small.
From then, Star stay away from Habibi, but Habibi is always crying and wants to play with the kitten. So we let them together again, and now they became friends and not fighting, in fact they were together too when sleeping.
Cats and dogs can be a good friends. Maybe it's just takes time to understand each other's behavior, but once they always get along their relationship became mutual.
By the way this picture was taken earlier before I left home. They keep following me so I put them on my bike's basket😻🐶
