Is Crypto Holding Still a Wise Choice?
Holding of cryptocurrencies has been a lifestyle for many, as some have become millionaires and even billionaires from this single act. From the era of bitcoin to ethereum and other shit coins, it has become a thing to stay.
In simple terms, holding of crypto is basically not selling your cryptocurrency even when there is a dip or rise. Holders of cryptocurrency are usually the major bulls during a dip because they believe in buying to hold as it will rise one day. Though this method has proved very effective especially in 2021 when the holders of the shiba coin so over 700% increase in the coin even when bitcoin and other major coins where experiencing a dip. This made the shiba coin one of the most volatile coins of 2021.
However, fast forward to 2022 all coins seem to have faced a very big blow as bitcoin, ethereum and all other coins have been on an incessant down trend. When the down trend began, there was a saying which went all viral "By the dip". Unfortunately the dip continued even deeper as the expected reversal was not in sight. And this has left many people asking if this is the end of the cryptocurrency era?
While it might not be accurate or impossible to give a yes/no answer to the question, many are on edge as the rate of dip is pretty alarming. Even the holders of cryptocurrency have begun to question their methods. It was recorded that over 2 Trillion dollars was lost in a day due to the decline the value of cryptocurrencies.
This is not the first time though that bitcoin and other coins are experiencing a dip and it recovered. So there might just be some bleak hope in the horizon.
A little thought though, what if this decline of cryptocurrencies is due to the emergence of a new gold, NFTs?
Buy the dip is the most common sentence in the crypto market.. it's a good advice but trust me, it's not always the best if you don't dyor😂
