What good is anger? You know the saying that experience is the best teacher has proven to be true time and again, the past few weeks have only proved it much more true to me. This year has been so challenging and tasking for me as I was burdened with organizing an event in my school that has not held for over **10 years.** You can imagine the pressure that puts on you especially when you are the chairman of the planning committee. Since it was more of an association thing it is expected of people to turn up. But that was not the case as only a few persons were actively involved in the planning and preparation of the event. This increased the work load and pressure on the few who were involved. The short time frame to the event was not even helping matters, as barely 3 weeks was the available time for the planning of the entire event which was scheduled to hold for 4 consecutive days. When the activities of the event eventually began, I saw myself loosing my cool and scolding people more often than not such that I was always been persuaded to calm down. It was quite a shock to me as I am a person of calm disposition. The most shocking occurred on the third day when I flared up and went home angrily without allowing anyone to calm me down. I didn't attend the rest of the activities of the event due to how angry I was. Later on, after pondering on my actions I figured it was not so easy being a leader. It is true what they say that leading humans is the toughest thing in the planet, I knew this and I also knew not to get angry to the extent of not listening to word of reasoning, but none of it mattered at that moment of my anger. It did cost me a thing or two though. I eventually apologized though for my behavior, but all of that would have been avoided if I had just listened to the plea of those who were begging me at the time. I let experience teach me that **anger is never the solution**. I could have been much more reasonable and civil in my actions rather than making an open display of my rage. To be great one needs to have **total control over emotions especially anger**. This brings to mind Moses the Prophet who struck the rock instead of speaking to it and it cost him entering the promised land. I may have missed it at this point, but I have learnt that anger and rage doesn't pay in anyway, but only causes hurts and regrets at the end. Being calm is a mastery that everyone should possess. Never let anger get the better part of you.

Do You Have it Figured Out? The past few days have made me to question my views, beliefs and even existence in life. Things happen, that make you ask the big question if you have it all figured out. It could be the death of a loved one, losing at an election, failing an exam, a relationship breakup, a business deal gone wrong, lack of self-control etc. No human is free from any form of issues or problems, we all just know how to mask it better or deal with it (if at all). They say a success story is not yet complete if there are no challenges embedded in the story. A 100% jolly ride cannot make for an exceptional success story. Hence it is obvious that getting successful is filled with a lot of challenges and hurdles. Oh yea, we hear this all the time, but this just a subtle reminder to remind you to brace up and prepare for what is coming up ahead. I love the bible for a reason because it actually is a very complete book. The book of 1st Corinthians 10:1 says “**there hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man, but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.**” This makes it evidently clear then that irrespective of what the challenge looks like, you are well equipped to face and overcome it. One thing important to note though is, that in course of trying to deal with the challenge, don’t deny the absence of the hurt or pain it makes you feel. It is very important to acknowledge the hurt and pain then channel it as a driving force to enable you overcome the situation. Grieving, mourning, drinking, sulking, crying, screaming and solitude are all allowed when a challenge initially gets to you (don’t let nobody tell you otherwise). What matters though is getting back on your feet and dealing with whatever happened head on. NO ONE HAS IT FIGURED OUT because “the battle is not for the swift or the mighty, but time and chance happens to us all”. Don’t get yourself worked out over what happens to you because it is not your fault, neither is it because you are a terrible person but bad things happen to everyone!!! Stay strong and hang in there!!!
Is Crypto Holding Still a Wise Choice? Holding of cryptocurrencies has been a lifestyle for many, as some have become millionaires and even billionaires from this single act. From the era of bitcoin to ethereum and other shit coins, it has become a thing to stay. In simple terms, holding of crypto is basically not selling your cryptocurrency even when there is a dip or rise. Holders of cryptocurrency are usually the major bulls during a dip because they believe in buying to hold as it will rise one day. Though this method has proved very effective especially in 2021 when the holders of the **shiba coin** so over **700%** increase in the coin even when bitcoin and other major coins where experiencing a dip. This made the shiba coin one of the most volatile coins of 2021. However, fast forward to 2022 all coins seem to have faced a very big blow as bitcoin, ethereum and all other coins have been on an incessant down trend. When the down trend began, there was a saying which went all viral "**By the dip".** Unfortunately the dip continued even deeper as the expected reversal was not in sight. And this has left many people asking if this is the end of the cryptocurrency era? While it might not be accurate or impossible to give a yes/no answer to the question, many are on edge as the rate of dip is pretty alarming. Even the holders of cryptocurrency have begun to question their methods. It was recorded that over **2 Trillion dollars** was lost in a day due to the decline the value of cryptocurrencies. This is not the first time though that bitcoin and other coins are experiencing a dip and it recovered. So there might just be some bleak hope in the horizon. A little thought though, what if this decline of cryptocurrencies is due to the emergence of a new gold, **NFTs?**
