Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) are digital objects that are uniquely identifiable and tradable, just like cryptocurrencies. In the near future, NFTs, in the form or digital art or collectibles, will exist right next to Bitcoin Cash, Bitcoin and Ethereum… These unique tokens can be traded as easily as cryptocurrency, but unlike with crypto, the identity of the owner cannot be derived from the transaction itself. This is because with NFTs, the token is tied to a specific owner, so it is not possible to determine who the token was traded to unless you ask the question of the owner directly. There are actually interesting use cases for NFTs like Virtual shopping, Gaming, and so on.
In a couple of months, there has been quite a number of NFTs project in SmartBCH and some of them are already being traded on the Oasis Marketplace. The NFT space in SmartBCH is growing every day as new projects are being launched. One of such is the Cattos NFTS
Cattos launched on the 25th of December, and it has been a steady but continuous growth ever since then. With little publicity, the first 1000 Cattos were minted within 24 hours at a price of 0.0082BCH. Developed by @NakamotoBch the project has grown to a size of over 200 users in a space of 3 weeks and over 5000 Cattos have been minted as at the time of writing.
The Cattos utility and governance token will be launched before the end of this month (January 2022). Staking on the Dapp platform will commence immediately after the token launches and proud owners of Cattos can stake their NFTs to earn the Cattos governance token passively.
The developers are currently working tirelessly on both the frontend and backend segment of the Dapp platform and also changes are being made to the current UI/UX of the Cattos site as shown below in other to make the website more user-friendly and interactive.
Also, the Cattos governance token will be listed on at least two SmartBCH DEX to provide liquidity for the community. There will be a community vote to determine the community favourites DEXs
We all know there is a current shift to 3D Virtual interactions and quite a new number of technologies are being developed to ensure the success of this new development. The METAVERSE is a virtual universe completely built using blockchain technology and operated on decentralized basis. A Cattos Punks Metaverse will be built to enable interactions between Cattos owners. This will allow owners to freely experience the unique features of the Metaverse.
One of the most interesting aspects of developing the Cattos Metaverse would be making it secure, so that owners can interact with mutual trust and confidence in their interactions, and also making it possible for them to create human societies and make them self-sustaining.
The Metaverse is Cattos vision of the future, where people will live, work, and thrive in a beautiful virtual world like today’s internet, except in three dimensions. The only ticket to this is owning a Cattos NFT.
Mint: A current poll is being carried out on the Cattos telegram group to determine if the current minting price will be increased. However, you can still mint your Cattos at the main website. Note that you must have a SmartBCH address, and it must be connected to the Cattos site before you would be able to mint a Cattos successfully. The current mint price is 0.0082 SBCH (excluding gas fee), although this might be increased depending on what the community decides. Upon minting successfully, you can check the type of Cattos you minted by visiting the Oasis Marketplace and then connecting your wallet. Remember to DYOR (DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH) and only use a sum of money you can afford to lose.
Buy: Well, if you are the type of person that likes to see what you’d like before paying for it, you can head on to the Oasis marketplace to purchase your Cattos from already listed ones. Quite a number of unique Cattos has been listed on the NFT marketplace.
Sell: Currently, there are only two ways to sell your Cattos, one is by getting it listed on oasis and the other is by selling it directly to a buyer.
