Slow Down; it rained
Hello Readlanders, good noon. It has been a dull weather since yesterday, right now the weather is rumbling but no rainfall. Everywhere is cold and my jacket hasn't dried for two days since I washed it. That is one thing about the rainy season that pisses me off. One has to wait for more than two days before his or her clothes dries. I have a washing machine but I don't have a drier, so I use the natural way (sun) to dry my clothes and other things. I just wish my jacket dries today because it will save me from the cold night as I expect.
Dull weather is always unpredictable. Just yesterday evening I had planned to visit a mall, it rained unpredictably. I was shifting the planes of visiting the mall till evening because I thought it would rain in the morning. It wasn't even dull in the evening but it happened unceremoniously. My plans of going there were unsuccessful because the rain fell through the night.
"No problems" I said to myself. There's always tomorrow. I had to change back my clothes because I was already prepared to leave . I call that kind of rain "a silly rainfall"
Silly rainfall always comes in the evening during closing hours. I was lucky to have come back home from work before it started, but unlucky to visit the mall again. I think rainfall should know that we dismiss at work in the evening and should not bother falling at all. If your coming back from work has been hindered by rainfall, you will understand what I'm saying.
It pains me more when a car carelessly splashes water on me while walking along the streets. Some drivers forget that pedestrians are at the side of the road and just race carelessly with speed, splashing water all over them. I have been a victim of that with my friends. It wasn't a funny experience at all
That day, we were walking downtown after a heavy rainfall the drainage was filled up and it was getting dark. We had to leave with our shoes off and in the bags. Everywhere was so wet that water was seen finding its way on some parts of the road. As we were seriously hurrying home barefooted, so many cars passed and on reaching us, slowed down to avoid splashing dirty water at us. At a point, there was this speed sound of a car coming behind us. We knew the driver wasn't going to slow down at all as he sped up splashing water at both sides. We had to face the wall to get our dose; that day, we cursed that driver till he was invisible.
Here in my city, almost everyone has such experience of being splashed on dirty water along the road. If I were a driver, I wouldn't do that. Those who do that can't possibly tell me that they didn't see people along the road, or that they were so much in a hurry that they can't slow down or even forget to slow down. I know that if it were to be them being splashed, they would never be happy. So why would they do to others what they wouldn't like others do to them?
There was a story of two young men who angrily threw stones at a car and broke the back screen because the drivers splashed rain water on them. This happened in daylight. When the speeding driver had to forcefully stop, the young men ran away. He chased after them but he didn't succeed in catching them.
People around blamed him while some laughed at him. Now he has realized that he was wrong. The two boys were coming back from school and as it was said, they were on their lane walking home hungrily. Maybe that was what plighted their anger to taking such an irreversible action. The mistake has been made and the lesson has been learnt.
I don't wish any driver such experience but rather be careful while driving especially when it is raining or after raining. Not even a dog by the streets will be happy to be sprayed dirt.
Thank you for reading.

I experienced it already with my school uniform. I felt ashamed somehow because I was wet all over, but regardless of what happened, I still go to work and teach.
