Somehow Busayo fell in love with Kenny and the love journey started but she wasn't sure until one evening when they agreed to have dinner together as usual. Kenny became found of her cooking that he doesn't get satisfied until he eats her meal in the evening but it doesn't happen every day because there are evenings when she is not in the mood to make anything serious for dinner.
Even at work, he was always rushing home just to dig into Busayo's meal. She wasn't just a beautiful angel, her cookings usually have this angelic touch in them.
He rushed home as usual but called earlier that she shouldn't make dinner because he would be inviting her over to his apartment, she didn't feel cool about it even though they were three weeks into the relationship. She eventually agreed to do it for the first time and he was really happy about it.
Before he arrived home, Busayo noticed some guys coming in and out of his apartment. She called to inform him and he said they were just his friend on the street, they came to pick something from his room.
Finally, he drove in and went to freshen up immediately. He called her to come in when he was relaxed and while she was leaving her room, Frank called but she ignored the call murmuring," I told this guy to stop calling me once we depart at work but he won't listen". The call was coming repeatedly and she had no choice but to switch off her phone before leaving her room.
She went to pick the phone but left it off, she was dressed in a casual short gown. The dress was just too sexy but casual because she was still within the house environment.
She knocked and Kenny's voice replied, "come in my queen". She hesitated because she doesn't like being flattered but she is a queen.
Kenny was wondering why she didn't come in so he rushed to the day to open for her.
Busayo was surprised at the look of his apartment, he interrupted her while staring at the lights, frames, and designs.
Kenny: Come have a sit dear. (He pointed towards the dining which was at one corner of the room).
Busayo thought she has seen it all, she turned toward the direction of his hand and she was wowed because it looked like a king was holding a feast.
She stammered, "Kenny, are your friends from this afternoon still around? You can't tell me you prepared all this for the both of us.
It is just dinner, are you out of your mind? Are you trying to impress me or something? Did you prepare these yourself?
I wanted to have a taste of the good cooking you always brag about not this".
Kenny felt bad but he didn't let her rants get into his head.
Kenny: Baby, you deserve these and more, just relax and enjoy the evening with me.
Busayo relaxed as she sluggishly walk to dining with her face frowned, Kenny teased her and she allowed a small grin to escape from her face.
They sat down looking at each other but Kenny didn't allow the silence to last longer so he faked a cough.
Busayo: sorry dear. (She quickly grabbed water and offered him).
Kenny took the water, sipped it, and dropped the glass. He started the conversation from there...
Babe, knowing you have been a blessing to my life and I can imagine how beautiful things will be for me if you become my wife. The first day I saw you, I asked myself why I was so quick to get into my previous relationships because you are everything I seek in a woman.
Let create a world of our own, I am not talking about fantasies. I mean a real world where you will become a queen and not a princess anymore, a world where we can have each other back and love each other forever.
While he was confessing his love, he got emotional and burst into tears.
I have suffered so much for love and that's why God sent you into my world to heal the wounds my previous relationships left in my heart.
I know it looks too early but I can't hold what I am feeling for you any longer, I just want to have you in my life full time. Please don't turn me down, let's spend the rest of our life together.
He paused for a moment as he dipped his hands into his chest pocket meanwhile Busayo was blushing already but she had to hide that excitement, it was a dream come through for her but it doesn't look like she was ready for that...
He brought out a diamond ring and went on his knee.
He continued, "baby will you be my queen?".
