Every Child is Special: A Reflection Paper
Learning to write and read are two of the first stages of a person's development. From here on out, as a grown-up, when we see a child capable of doing such things at an early age, we can't help but be delighted as we know that this child will have a bright future ahead of them.
But before anything else, I'd like to extend my gratitude to my sponsors for their support, and you can visit their accounts to read the interesting pieces.
Reality is harsh, and as adults who have already had a lot of life experience, we are well aware that life is wonderful, but it can also put a lot of pressure on us to continue living in this world. We are always in search of desirable things that we believe will make us happy, and we are constantly looking for ways to satisfy ourselves. We are, however, lifeforms who cannot be satisfied with achieving a single goal, which is why we always set goals one after the other. And, before we find that certain happiness that we all seek, we go through a lot of trials since in this world we face a lot of criticism from others.
The most common thing that our society judges are the inability to read and write properly. At the young age of children, we often see some of them being academically poor students. Not only in the eyes of their peers but also in the eyes of our adults, they can quickly become the target of ruthlessness. Society always tends to judge without knowing the real cause of the problem, we always tend to focus on mistakes and we foresee the things that they are capable of
Taare Zameen Par or known for its another film name Every Child is Special, an Indian film starring Aamir Khan as Ram Shankar Nikumbh and Darsheel Safary as Ishaan Awasthi. This movie is about a young boy who has Dyslexia a learning disorder which troubled by reading and writing. Ishaan is a repeat third-grader, his parents were unaware of his learning disability, and as a result, in addition, he received much scolding at his school, and his parents also scolded him as they believed Ishaan was not paying enough attention in class. Soon after he was transferred to a boarding school but he went on the same experience that he had been through in his previous school. Ishaan receives a lot of criticism and put a lot of humiliation not just from his classmate but also from most of his teachers. Despite his inability to read and write, Ishaan has a great talent for the arts, but due to his depression, he was unable to paint or to craft arts. He became engulfed in depression at a young age, to the point where he was unable to speak and distanced himself from those around him.
Luckily he meets the new art teacher, Ram Shankar Nikumbh. Ram soon finds out that Ishaan also suffers from a learning disorder that he also has, dyslexia. Ram talked to Ishaan's parents about his concern and informed them about their son's disorder. Ram also spent a lot of time, attention, and effort teaching Ishaan how to read and write in a very slow manner. It also helped Ishaan to re-appreciate the field of arts and encourage him to create paints and crafts again, and soon Ishaan's academic performance showed progress.
I watched this movie almost four times already but the moral brought by the concept of this movie is still there and every time I watch it I get different values from it. Most of the time, we overlook minor issues that a child may be experiencing and instead focus solely on their mistakes. Children are fragile, for a child to experience such depression can cause so much destruction for their dreams and their very own hope. They may not know the term suicidal yet but some of the actions that they do, if they are guilty is to hurt themselves to make up for the mistakes that they have done. Children at a young age deserve much attention and love from us, this is to help them nurture their own gifts and capabilities.
We adults also came from being a child, it is totally normal to do mistakes, to experience failures since they were still learning how to measure right from wrong. Grown-ups are children's hope, let's not ruin their dreams and be patient with them.

I watched this movie already. Super love it! Indeed every child is special. We should be understanding as parents to our children. We do not really know what's is going through their minds.
