"Reminiscing the old Christmas carolling's"

Greeting's Hello reader's and writer's, i wish you are all doing well. Anyway how was your Monday so far? Today is just an ordinary day for me, actually i have done writing my blog entry for today, as i wrote it this morning but it is written by our own language which is Tagalog. But something happen tonight that makes my mind change and decided to write a new one. I suddenly had a flashback memory from my old and golden day's. Tonight while my mother-in-law is cuddling my son, she suddenly mention about the carolling. Then she started reminiscing, which makes me reminisce those day's too. I had some old but golden memories those day's, where my cousin's and I used to have carollings starting the 16th day of December 'til the 24th of December after we attend the mass..

And I had this experience were my father once insisted to join us to do the carolling. Actually at first i was hesitant to let him join us, but since my cousin's agreed, i had no choice. The reason why i don't want to let my father join us is because he was drunk, lol. My father was just like me, he was a shy type person, and i know he only got the confident to join us because of the spirit of alcohol. Oh, so he was posses, kidding 😂. So that night i was not comfortable singing, as i have my drunk father with us. He even sing the song so different from us, as he has his own lyrics and tune, then he has a whisk broom with him as his guitar, lol. So the usual peaceful carolling turned into an entertainment as my father make it funny. And because of that, that night we accumulate double than our usual earnings. We are all happy that night, we all enjoy singing while my father is playing his whisk broom. He was dancing while singing too and that makes the people love to give us bigger amount. Well it was only because he was drunk, if not, for sure he can't even join us. For that night, it was so embarrassing, but for tonight reminiscing, that was the best carolling experience i ever had. I suddenly feel sad, as i wish i can turn back the time and cherish that carolling with him. It's truly true that you can only appreciate the time if its only a memory. Another thing that makes me smile while reminiscing is when we went to a subdivision area to do the carolling.

The place is too quiet, it was Christmas but it seems like the place is empty. We are teasing each other as we might see a ghost somewhere out there. And since the place is quite, we stop teasing each other and we silently walk as we searched for a house that we could carol. When we found a house that we think has a people inside, we start singing. I think we scare the guard dog of that house as it suddenly bark on us.

We thought the dog was inside the house, but we suddenly saw it walking near to us from outside that house. We stop singing, and because it was barking fearlessly, one of my cousin suddenly run away. He run as fast as he could, and since the dog was ready to chase him, we also run for our lives lol. I was so nervous that time, I run faster as I could as I don't want the dog to reach me. When we was already far from the subdivision, the dog stop chasing us. We laughed so hard as we are safe at last. And since we are all tired we decided to go home early that night. While we we're walking we couldn't stop from laughing as we keep on teasing each other of how coward we are, we are laughing while sharing our fear's and thoughts while running for our lives lol. That was really a funny experience I ever had those day's . I suddenly miss my cousin's, and mostly I really miss my father and family. It's been 8 years since the last time I celebrated the Christmas with them. I wish next year we can be able celebrate the Christmas with them together with my own little family. How about you guy's what memories you had during your carolling's? Do you also go for carolling's?

Anyway this is all for now guy's, as it is getting late. It's already 23:25 p.m here in our place and I'm the only one who's awake as everybody in the house is already sleeping. Actually I fall asleep while typing this blog , i started typing at 21:00 p.m and when I woke up it was already 11:00 p.m lol. See you tomorrow.
