"Mother: every child's safe zone"
January 02,2022 Blog 111 #01Hello everyone, how are you? I hope you guys are doing well and enjoying the rest of your holiday with your family and friends.
Yesterday I did not write any article as I really don't have any energy to write. I have a topic but my sleepy brain don't want to cooperate which makes me experience that thing that everyone called " Writer's block".
Another thing that I can't fucos on my writing is because my son is sick, he always wanted me to carry him. It was sad that he got sick on the first day of 2022. We are actually wondering why, as he is still okay last December thirty first and just yesterday afternoon we are surprised as he got a fever. I was thinking that maybe it was because of what happen on New year's Eve. He was very scared and he keeps on crying whenever he heard loud noises. I know he was wondering of what is happening as he don't used to hear loud noises specially at night and I was thinking that he got phobia because of it and that made him a fever.
Our New Year's Eve is quite far to what I expected. I thought we will be celebrating the New year's eve with joy while enjoying watching our neighbors having fun outside but as what they have said, expect the unexpected.
My son and I went to sleep at around 9:00 p.m last December 31. I asked my partner to just woke us before the clock hit's 12, and he agreed. Unfortunately at around 10:00 pm our neighbors started making some noise using their motorcycle open pipe and that really makes my son's scared. He went panicked when he suddenly woke up from that noise. He cried so hard as the noise frightened him. Actually they are already making that noise during the day time and that is also the reason why my son don't get his afternoon nap.
The noise of the motorcycle open pipe is quiet painful to our ears and I know it is more hurtful to my sons ear. We did close all our windows and doors but we can still hear it's loud noise. My son keeps on crying and he don't want any one at home but me. His Papa and mommyla(grandma) tried to comfort him but he didn't stop from crying, unless I'm the one who's carrying him. He only wants me, as he really felt safe if he's with me. My mother-in-law say's that it's normal as I am his mother, I am his total safe zone. So I did everything just to make him comfortable and safe. I feel sorry for son, but we cannot stop the people outside, we cannot stop them celebrating and having fun for the New year's Eve.
After 30 minutes upon entering the 2022, the loud noise stop, finally my son fall asleep in my arms. He was very tired of crying, and that makes me feel guilty.
Yesterday all of us woke up at past 7, or I think that was almost 8:00 in the morning. Everyone in our neighbors are still sleeping and our place is still quite, but in our house, everyone are already doing each daily chores 😅. My son is still okay, he was still playful the whole morning until the noon time came, his temperature suddenly rise. He become grumpy and started having his tantrums. His temperature was 37.6°c the whole afternoon.
Whenever he got sick he always wanted me to carry him, he always cried whenever he don't see me. That is why yesterday I am very much tired 😪.
Today he still have fever but since his temperature didn't change, we only give him paracetamol and do some observation. I hope tomorrow everything went will, as I really don't like him being sick.
This is all for today guy's, I really feel sleepy and tired as last night my son can't sleep properly so I'm also lacking with sleep. I will try to cope and read your articles later after I get a little sleep. Have a great day ahead and Happy New Year everyone.
