Where there is no vision the people perish, so says the Holy Book. A life without vision is a life without a purpose. Vision is a strong desire to be accomplished. In its most simplistic definition, vision is the ability to see in the mental image. This isn't just simply a picture but an intricate mixture of emotions that accompany a specific picture.

The word vision conjures up some very interesting things. Many people think of Jesus when they hear the word vision. The reason for this is because He was able to see into the world that was not seen by man, the world of the spirit. Vision is a gift from God. It comes as an inspiration that often comes out of nowhere and is not easily attained.

Vision is a clear picture of a destination, a roadmap, or a direction to where life should be in the future. Those who lack it often live their lives in frustration and stagnation without a future in view. Vision is a clear picture of a preferred future, the picture of a cognitive image of the kind of future you desire. Having this kind of vision means having a roadmap in our journey to a better life in the future. Vision serves as a preview of your future from the present. It means having a purpose, goal, and definite objectives in life.

The impact of vision on a man's life transcends every area of life. It is the fuel for enthusiasm and the driver of life, it helps to maximize time and add meaning to life. To live without vision is to live without meaning and a waste of time and energy.

As a writer, I have spent countless hours examining stories of people and listening to their life experiences. One common thread that I have noticed is the lack of vision in most people's lives. Life without vision is like a rudderless ship, wandering aimlessly across an ink-filled sea with no hope of survival. It's all too common that people take the first path they see and give themselves no choice but to follow, like a prisoner placed in shackles.

What good is a man who cannot see beyond his nose?

Vision will trump everything else in your life. People who see clearly live with purpose and direction, while those who lack vision are aimless and clueless as to where their lives are headed.

To live without vision is to live not knowing what to do. Aging without changes or improvement. Vision is the key to living a life of focus and commitment. It is the reason why you wake up each morning with the determination to achieve a set goal for the day. This is the reason why a life without vision is a distraction. It is important to have a vision for your life else you run pursuing someone else vision.

Those who are living a life of vision know exactly the direction to take to get to their destination because visions mean sight. If you don't know where you are going every road looks the right road. And those who see clearly run faster, because vision enhances acceleration In life.

A clear vision or sight is a prerequisite for speedy movement, that's why you run faster when you are seeing clearly. To move fast in life you need to have a clearer vision for your life. Not having one equal living in darkness. You can think of it this way when a car's lights are very dim, you can only move very slowly at night. In the same way, if you have no clear vision for life your speed of progress will be very slow. Our problem in life is not how far we can go but how clearly we can see. The clearer the vision the faster our lives journey will be.

Vision is very important in life because it is a tool for visualization. Without vision, you may go in the wrong direction and lose your time and money. This does not mean that you should have a clear idea of what you want to do in life before you do it, but having a vision means knowing what you want to achieve before getting there.

The right vision gives a man strength and wisdom to choose the right associates because birds of the same feather flock together. The right vision attracts the right people to a person's life and the right people give you acceleration in life. What this means is that your right vision will lead you to the right associate who will facilitate your speed and progress in life. There are two reasons why we are not progressing in life as fast as we can which are lack of clear vision and the type of people who surround us that are going nowhere.

Vision is the determinate of your life destination and whatever is out of your view is beyond your reach. The question to ask is this, what kind of life do you envision?

The answer to that determines everything you are going to see in your life. It determines the type of wife or husband you will marry, the type of job, career, or business to pursue.
