Family day out
Hello Hello Dear Read Readers!
It's been a long while since I last wrote here and I admit I miss you all soooo badly, especially my soul sisters @Bloghound and @Pichi28 .
How are you all doing? Hope everyone is in good condition and that life is treating each one of you nicely. I've been busy with real-life issues that's why I lay low on the platform that I was active on before. But I'm trying to get back now and hopefully you readers are still there. :)
I feel like I'm starting as a newbie here again, and a bit nervous about what to write.
Anyway, let me just share with you our family trip to Los Banos, Laguna. It was our first family trip after two years of on and off lockdown, but because we don't want to be in crowded places and we don't want to mingle yet with big crowds with just decided to rent a private resort.
Los Banos, Laguna is about 2 hours away from Manila and if you want to go to a hot spring, and want a private resort that will give you privacy from others, this is the place to go too as the place is mostly private resorts that you can rent for a day trip, or overnight. Park Merced which is in the heart of Los Banos is a subdivision that is full of private resorts. There are some that can accommodate 10 pax or less and there are some that can accommodate up to 100 pax.
And that is where we stay for a day. The small pool at the far end is the one for kids while the big one is for adults. The adult pool is about 6ft deep while the for the kids is only 3ft deep. The resorts have 4 bedrooms that can accommodate 8 pax per room. They also have a billiard table and an entertainment room. The resort is clean and neat and the caretaker is attentive enough to all our needs.
The place is a bit expensive but with the privacy we had, and the enjoyment of the kids, it's all worth it. We bring our own food and drinks.
Nope, we are not afraid to get hungry hahahah. That is our lunch, you might be wondering if we did finish it all? Nope, we didn't, we expect the kids will keep on munching every time they get off the water but I guess they missed being in the water so much that they rarely leave the pool. So, the food lasted till before we get home, and the rest we left it with the resort caretaker. The resort provided a videoke too, and my two brothers are the king of it.
Everyone had a great time. It was a day full of fun and relaxation. The kids enjoyed it a lot and I had a day of rest. We arrived there at the resort at 7:30 am and leave at 5 pm. The travel back home was a longer than we expected, actually, it was way longer as there was road construction that started that afternoon. If going there took us two hours, the travel back home was doubled. We reached home almost 9 pm. Good thing everyone is full and tired from swimming that most are asleep during the whole travel.
