The day we shouldn't forget.

April 15, 2022. Friday.

It's a Good Friday today folks. I hope you are doing well during these days and weeks. Today is a week of pagninilay nilay so I hope everyone is doing the same. Let us also not forget this day today where Jesus Christ sacrificed his life for all of us.

Anyway I know that the others are not in their houses now because this is also the only chance for them to go and roam the places they want to go with their families, in short they can go on vacation somehow because this is the only time that workers don't have works.

But my mom, my sister and I only stay at home during Holy Week. It's really customary to us just to stay at home during these times. What we do this days are we just wake up, eat, talk, watch something just like movies or els and sleep together, that's all we usually do during Holy Week.

On Thursday, maybe some people out there who like to watch Televesion knows that there is no any shows on Television because the programs they show are about life of god, documentaries, old movies, and others are just movies. Last year when we still had TV that's all we did from Thursday to Saturday, watch TV shows. We only watched movies all day then but now that we don't have TV of course we don't watch TV programs.

But Last year when there was no pandemic on Friday, we watched the penetensya in the morning and in the afternoon we watched or joined the procession. But since 2020 camed (pandemic started) the practice of penetensya and procession has been banned, almost all of us have just been at home to actually celebrate the holy week. Last year, penetensya and procession were still not allowed, so we were only at home and even if there was a mass then, it was only held online. This year that such activities are allowed again, it is not surprising that many have joined or attended the penetensya and procession, of course you can't blame them because they are just excited to do it because they haven't done it for almost 2 years. Moreover, such activities can actually be held because in the campaigns of politicians they allow a large number of people to attend and crowded people and then during Holy Week they will ban it? so it is only right that they allow it to happen again but all you have to do is follow the health protocol so that nothing becomes a problem.

But my family and I, even though the restrictions are no longer strict and such activities are allowed, we still chose to stay at home. Even though we don't have a TV to watch now and nothing to do, we just stayed in our house. We just watch movies on our cellphones and sometimes we just play games on our cellphones too when there is really nothing to do. I'm still practicing my Ukulele and this is my third day of studying and practicing, but that's not the only thing I'm doing because I still have other things to do about.

Later we planned to watch the procession but we were also hesitant. Of course, we are sure that many people will also go there and the social distancinh may not be followed due to the number of people attending the procession. But maybe we'll just postpone watching the procession again this year, of course we just want to be careful and be safe. And who knows maybe next year there will be no Virus, lets claim it! So we are sure that when there are no viruses next year, it is sure that nothing will stop us from doing what we want to do and we will be free. I just really hope that comes true.

Until tomorrow, other workers have no work, so it means that until tomorrow they can still rest, so make the most of the 3 days of your rest day or day off because Monday is back to work again and so are we students, it is back to school or online class again. So let's just all enjoy and relax these days, but also don't forget what are the purpose of Holy Week and throughout this week. So let's not forget to pray guys.
