Inflation In The Philippines Wasn’t a Joke.

Maybe some people won't feel that Inflation is striking for it was too regular for them to have this kind of price in their life. But for ordinary people like us, it affects everything from the morning goods to the dinner table, which cost a lot of living.

Suppose you are not fond of listening to and reading the news. In that case, you will find out that the price of goods increases significantly, for a reason of supply and demands, as the professional traders said, yet under observation and investigation, the cost increases weren't entirely from the supply and demand mans yet in case it also comes in the volatile price for the devil act of people under the government.

You might not believe me when I said that one egg in my place could cost P15 or $0.27 at the latest price over a dollar. It was triple the price when I was still young, we could buy five pieces of egg in P20, yet things are getting more complicated now.

Furthermore, I understand the reason of some traders, away from the news, and maybe the government hides from people that Cagayan, where I am residing, had an issue with bird flu. Most of the chicken-producing eggs were affected and forced to cull. The government hides up also to protect others from sudden price pumps as the other growers will soon double think if they should continue to make or not.

Issues about importation of goods are also in the eye as today as the sugar industry tried to tackle things by faking documents, now that they said supply of onion is under the bottom line and to avoid the Inflation of the spices importation is needed. But in my view, last time, the onion farmers are fleeing for help to market their products.

I am hanged for thinking that the power of a higher form is taking this for granted, that Inflation and pumping of prices are the results of negligence and planning too much. Some might not be aware that this was happening where due to over-planning, some of the funds get wasted.

As I grew more and understood things that money is the essential tool for everything, I do realize that candy for change is not the best way for today, unlike the past year when we went to the groceries or local store, if the difference was coin lowered that 10 pesos I could buy it for candy, or anything. But today, I get more practical. I will wait for a change even if it's 1 peso.

Inflation is not a joke, for it's becoming more serious.

I prefer to take my life away from the city because my life expects too little. Yet now living in the city and the rural there was a difference, for it also cost high friction of living.

How Inflation affects me?

Last year, we always had the Pandesal every morning, a soft milky bread that I think is a staple for Filipinos. But now we only have that every Sunday, and we buy some local biscuits instead as alternatives.

And many more things changed as the Inflation couldn't cover my budget.

Living simple is the best way until now?. Where simplicity is a sign of scarcity at this moment. We want to live simple as possible and dine with a simple life, yet we are still greatly affected by sudden increases in price.

When gasoline starts to incline, the Inflation for transportation and manufacturing expenses comes with the rollback, and subsidy is another issue. The price of commodity increases more for sugar is scary, and the demand over supply affects the cost of the product.

Not a joke anymore.

The sad thing is that, like history. This will remains at the level of normality which soon is standard prices, so later as again the tension of fuel war and the disease of livestock again come and attacked, the prices we have now could be more and more increases as the starts of a new era of a trade war.

Imagine that we have 15 pesos per egg from the beginning of August, but latest, it goes down to 13, still a considerable price up but compared to 15 people will choose the 13. What if the egg's regular price will be 10 pesos as the issue of bird flu begone? Then comes next year to happen. Twenty pesos per piece of eggs is much more possible.

This is what I am a bit worried about. What happened in the following years to come? As Inflation hits us hard, surely the following one will strike harder and harder. Are we ready for that to come? I bet no.

I agree with you, this is not a joke. Ang hirap mag budget, lahat na tumataas na ang presyo, parang wala ng nabibili ang 1000 pesos. Huhuhu

It's never a joke. Haha

Prices of commodities are going crazy. Never I think in my life that I will buy an egg for $0.30. Inflation is such pain even more when salary is not increasing too. hays.
