Wrapping Up- January

Do you also wonder how the days and nights just pass by so fast? Yesterday, we were still in the first month of the year, and now, we're already stepping into the second month of 2022, February.

There were 31 days for the month of January and while every day feels like just a normal day, there were still some days that are special and unforgettable because there were wonderful moments that became a beautiful memory. And before we bid goodbye to the previous month, here's a wrap-up of how the first month of 2022 went.

Spent New Year's Eve at my brother's girlfriend's house

Usually, we would just celebrate the New Year at home and eat the food that my mother prepared to welcome the New Year. But this year, my family celebrated New Year's Eve at my brother's girlfriend's house to enjoy the night with their family. Perhaps, it's the most memorable New Year celebration for me in my 22 years of existence, aside from the years when we were still celebrating it with my whole father's side's family.

Received a gift from ate Kelzy

This is the second tangible gift I received from my virtual friends on noise.cash and it came from ate @Kelzy and I'm very grateful for it. I always use it whenever I go out of the house or whenever I feel like using a lip tint.

I started Learning Hangeul

At first, I just wanted to understand some Korean words that are usually spoken in Korean dramas. Then, I made it into a goal this year to actually learn how to read and write in Hangeul and to speak in the Korean language. That is why last January 07, I decided to start learning Hangeul already to take the first step towards this goal. It's been almost a month but I still don't see any huge progress. However, I still think that small progress is still a progress.

I ate out with my Friend

One of the things I want to do this year is to treat myself out at least once a month and I'm glad that I was able to do it this January when my friend and I went out to try the newly opened branch of our favorite burger snack house.

I got to buy a Cabinet

I've been wanting to buy a cabinet for myself because the old one is no longer spacious enough for all of my clothes and other things and I'm so happy that I had enough funds to buy myself a new one.

I submitted my scholarship renewal requirements

When the provincial education office announced the deadline of submission for the scholarship requirements, I thought I won't get to renew my scholarship anymore because I didn't start with my volunteer service yet. But I just feel so relieved when I got to pass my scholarship renewal requirements already since the stipend we receive is really such a huge help for me. I still have 1 lacking and that is my Certificate of Grades. I'll submit it once the Registrar's office releases it already.

I watched 4 Korean dramas

If before, I only get to watch 1 K-drama every month or other month since I don't have a lot of copies of Korean dramas, now I could watch anytime I want all thanks to ate ilavpurple828 for giving me a hard drive full of K-dramas. This January, I got to watch 4 of them (True Beauty, Love in the Moonlight, Start-Up, and 18 Again).

I achieved my Financial Goals

I have shared before the financial goals that I've set for the year 2022 and I'm delighted to know that I was able to save for my monthly Cebu Trip Fund, 4 weeks worth of Travel Fund, and daily savings. I was also able to accumulate 1 BCH this month for my 10 BCH goal this year.

Looking at this wrap-up of how my January went, I can say that I have had such a productive first month of the year. I hope that I'll also be as productive as before this February.
