Perhaps, the best way to save ourselves whenever we are experiencing "Writer's Block" is to just simply answer random questions that we've found online. And while I was reading other users' articles, I encountered the article of MommySwag where she answered some questions that would bring her back to her childhood days. And since I'm out of topic again, I decided to answer some of the questions in the 50 Dig a Little Deeper Questions.
There are 50 questions on this list and I'll only be answering some of them since it will be so long if I'll try to answer all of them. However, maybe I'll answer some of the questions I didn't get to answer now in the future if I don't have any topic to write on again. And if you are also having a hard time thinking of a topic, then you can save the photo as well for your future reference. So let's get on it!
1. Would you prefer to live in the country or the city?
I'm not really a fan of living in the city as I'm the type of person who likes it better when the surrounding is just peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by beautiful beaches and mountains. Although there are a lot of opportunities in the city, I would still prefer to live in the countryside because the cost of living here is cheaper than in the city. I also prefer to just live a simple life than worrying about the dog-eat-dog world.
2. If you could learn a new skill, what would it be?
I've been wanting to learn how to drive for years already. However, I just couldn't get the courage to start learning how to drive even a motorcycle because I have this fear that I might only experience accidents if I already know how to drive. It's a skill that I really want to learn so that I could go wherever I want without having anyone drive me there as I find it bothersome for my papa or mama to do it for me. So I really plan to take a driving course once I graduate from college because it'll be beneficial once I get to buy my car already. Char!
3. If you could be a mythical creature, which would you choose?
I would want to choose to become a mermaid because I want to experience swimming under the waters of the ocean, talk and play with other sea creatures, and witness the wonders of the sea. I want to be able to swim as much as I can.
When we were young, we were told different stories of mermaids who enchant people because of their beautiful voices. There were also stories where they are the villains. But I believe that if mermaids really exist, they are the ones who guard the ocean or the goddesses of the sea. And I want to be like them since the sea is also close to my heart.
4. Do you like your name? Would you ever change it?
My name is "Florie Mae" and I think that it's already a beautiful name and there is no need to change it. I thought that it was a combination of my parents' names and I like how they got to come up with it, but my mama once told me that my aunt was the one who suggested my name. Perhaps, she was the one who combined my parents' names and came up with it.
And out of curiosity, I searched on Google about the meaning of my name and this is what it showed. It says that it indicates a gift of gab or the ability to persuade others effortlessly, but I don't think it's true since I'm not that convincing. I also don't think I'm expressive enough, but I believe I'm optimistic, sometimes outgoing, and inspiring.
5. Do you consider yourself a romantic?
I consider myself a hopeless romantic who loves the idea of being in love and sometimes, because of the influence of watching too many romantic dramas and movies, I tend to think about love and relationships as a fairy-tale. I also strongly believe that there is someone out there who is destined to be my soulmate and lifetime partner. Char!
6. What are you most thankful for?
I'm most thankful for having my parents because if not for them, I wouldn't be here today writing this article that you are currently reading. I'm thankful for my parents, especially for my mother who gave birth to me and I got to experience how it is to live on Earth. I'm thankful for the both of them that even if sometimes (or most of the time) they are so irritating for always fighting over silly things, they have still sacrificed a lot just to give us the things we need, and for that, I'm forever grateful.
And before I end up crying here, I'll finish this blog already. So thanks for reading!
'Yung sa skills na gustong matutunan? I'll go with "driving a bike and motor" lalo na kapag kotse. Uwieee~ nai-imagine ko self ko tapos may pa-sunglasses pa. Hihihi! 👻
Aside from it, "swimming." Awittt! Magtu-22 na ako pero daig pa ako ni sis. Pinaglihi daw kasi ako sa palaka ay, hahaha.
