Willpower

Before I proceed unto today's article I would like to thank everyone who welcomed me on my first article. I am sure it is rare to meet a seven months old newbie like me (lol).

What is harder than the actual work? Well it is the "mental game". We all want to change something, improve on a bad habit or form a good one, get healthier, improve our relationships, etc.

But doing these isn't easy and the hardest part, is the mental game between our brain or mind. You see our mind and body always try to resist us whenever we want to implement a change.

What do we need to overcome this mental game that stops us in our tracks and keeps us in old patterns?. What we all need is "willpower".

Willpower is what we need to overcome this mental game that stops us in our tracks and keeps us in old patterns. It's what helps us make those difficult decisions, such as what to eat, whether to go to the gym, or how to organize our day. Willpower is the key ingredient that helps us shape our habits.

What is will power?

Will power is a term used to describe aspects of self-control, goal setting and determination. Will power centers on the idea that people have the ability to control their actions, thoughts, emotions and more.

Will power is the principle that lies behind self-realization and self-improvement goals. When you do what you can to strengthen your willpower, it's easier to overcome obstacles and take control of your life and your destiny. Will power is what gives us the strength to stick to our goals?

There are actually many factors that determine your willpower. From your mental health, to your physical health, to your goals.

What is the source of willpower?

Will power comes from within us, although it can also be contributed by external factors. But the truth is that sometimes no one really knows where it comes from. But one thing that is certain is that we all have it and we all can use it.

Willpower is a lot like a muscle. When you start to feel low on willpower, it means your muscle is getting tired. It can be fatigued from overuse or through simple inactivity.

So if you find yourself feeling unmotivated or unable to stay on course, check in with what body of work you've been doing. If you've been taking on a lot, take some time off to rest and recuperate.

Willpower is not just a trait you are born with. It's also a skill that can be learned and perfected. Will power is a skill that anyone can learn by applying proven principles and the first step is believing in yourself and your abilities.

The key to willpower is to keep things simple. If you're trying to change too many habits at once, it's likely you'll end up failing.

Success and willpower

"The secret of success is to have the ability to get things done by turning your imagination into action."

- Paul J Meyer

Successful people have a high degree of self-control and discipline. They are able to make choices and stick with them even when things are tough or not going well.

People who lack self-control tend to procrastinate or "give up" easily. They give into negative emotions, impulses and distractions. Effective planning is often the main secret to achieving goals because it helps keep you motivated and moving forward toward success.

It may seem counterintuitive, but successful people typically work best when they set extremely high standards for themselves—and then work even harder to meet those standards.

It's important not to be overly critical of yourself, but realistic expectations combined with a healthy "tough love" attitude can help you be at your best both personally and professionally.

If you love yourself you would want the best of for yourself. The best doesn't come to you by lamenting or complaining about your current situation.

Thank you so much for reading I look forward to your engagement.
