Hi guys, I have been off the platform for these few days, it's not intentional. It is just how the situation of things turned around or should I just call it the life of a Musician. It started with rehearsals for one of the church programs we ended yesterday. It's known as the Chrism Mass in the Catholic Church all over the world. It was truly a successful event because the choir and the orchestra which I was one of them did marvellously well. Below is one of the clips from yesterday's performance.

It was indeed a wonderful outing. The Chrism Mass ushered us into the triduum which is Holy Thursday, Good Friday and Holy Saturday. I know that these Easter holy days are not only celebrated by the Catholic Church alone, therefore, I will also want to wish every Christian on this platform Happy Triduum.

People and Money

This is the very secret of wealth that most times we neglect. Have you looked at the world's richest people, you would have seen that they all have one thing in common. What they have in common is nothing other than People. Did you get what I just said now? Let me say it again, the richest names we all know in this world have one thing in common and that thing is known as People. It may sound funny to you but I assure you that this might be the reason you are not yet succeeding. Let us look at these big names.

• Bill Gates

• Elon Musk

• Jeff Bezos

• Aliko Dangote

• Mark Zuckerberg

Mind you, I did not mention these names in any particular other. There is one thing you already know by now about these names. They all have millions or even billions of people working fir them either directly or indirectly. What this means is that they do less work while these millions of people do the greater work for them. Take, for instance, if Jeff Bezos decides to sleep all through the day and not do anything, for the next one week, his net worth will not sleep because he has built a strong network of people all over the world.

This goes to all of the names I mentioned. Now, the very important question to ask yourself is this; do I have a strong human network? Before now, I never believed in anything that has to do with the networking of people. Back then I use to see it as a scam once any business gets to the level of bringing people or building a stream of network with people. I believe we all know that we learn through experience and I know that experience has thought me differently. You may have a wonderful idea or business plan, if you do not carefully and intentionally build that business or idea on a network of people, such an idea or business plan may die on arrival. When you hear Affiliate Marketing, it is nothing other than making sales through the use of a network of people either on the Internet or physically. Most of us still think that networking is another form of Ponzi scheme but I tell you today, a lot of people especially those who have understood the power of people and money have built their businesses through a network of people.

Sometimes we think they are exaggerating when we hear them talk about their successes in Affiliate marketing. I believe you watched the video I posted above, imagine none of those choristers decides not to come for rehearsals in preparation for the outing, do you think the choir would have done well? Just imagine opening a pizza shop and no one comes in to patronise you, do you think you will continue in the business? Let's move away from business and go to governance. A lot of countries are already preparing for an election, this is why you see politicians and candidates of various government offices go around campaigning for people's votes. They don't just stop at the physical campaign, they involve the use of media both print, audio and visual media. This is because they understand the power of people.

If you look at every religion in the world today, you will understand that each one of them understands the power of people and numbers. This is why most of them do crusades, outreach and so many other things. There is nothing you can do without people being a vital part of it. Even when you are in your house and you want to cook, you must have involved people in the plan which was why you went to the market or grocery store to buy all you need for the cooking. You must be intentional about people and money because once you miss this principle, you will always find it very difficult to succeed. Have you not heard that no one is an Island?

If that is the case, why then do we act like we can do it all by ourselves? If you do not learn anything from this post today, I will urge you to learn that wealth can not grow without people fanning or watering it at various levels. Look at yourself today and take that decision to build a network of people. Remember that the world is moving toward people and networking. I have been a victim of this but I have decided to turn it around by being intentional with people. You can start by creating a small WhatsApp group. Make sure you have something people will always want. Remember that human wants are insatiable therefore they will always come back to you. It is never late to start.
