Emotionally intelligent people:

1.Try their best to not respond to fights.

2. Save up money for the future especially when times are very good.

3. Empathise with others.

4. Are not at all jealous. They show appreciation.

5. Take everything in stride.

They do not do these:

1.Gossip about others.

2. Wish for others to fail.

3. Sacrifice their well-being for ungrateful people. Especially in relationships.

4. Behave impulsively because x did this to them.

5. Do not try to be the best but try to better themselves instead.

Simple but also very accurate. You can judge a person and his intelligence only on the basis of behavior towards other people, of course there are exceptions, but they only confirm the rule.
