Mind Power Power of your mind The mind is a unique, tangible asset of our body, that's responsible of carrying reasoning ability. The mind,the thought,our reasoning controls our actions and the things that comes towards us. The mind is the CPU ( central processing unit) of the human body as the computer have a CPU for all information .The mind is responsible for processing every information. The law of nature have made it possible for every thought you process,to happen to you. That's why is very important to think right, think positive. Whenever you think positive in a long run,it will come to reality. Humans have to be extra careful with the power of their minds. The mind can help you recreate anything you want,change your family and environment. Unfortunately, most of us are more mindful of the negative. The negative thought happens faster than the positive thoughts. Thus, whenever, you're thinking negative, call your mind back to order. This is because,it doesn't take much time for the negative to happen. Frame your thoughts; the Bible says we should think everything good. Make it a challenge to think, meditate on only beautiful things.You can help your positive thinking with your positive words. Resist from talking carelessly, always speak good things. When you're always thinking that you won't succeed in life,my dear, poverty will start gravitating towards you. Depression What's depression? Why do we get depressed? How can we solve depression? What are it's negative effect? Depression is the inner frustration we face, whenever we feel inferior;when our expectations are not met,we feel less important than others. A depressed person always have higher expectations,they want everything they do should always come out perfect. Depressed person is a seeker of perfections. Which is impossible,you can never have 100% of everything. Depressed people are disappointed souls that refused to accept their imperfections. They normally,wants to be correct and never to live with any wrong. They fail to understand that we are all sinners and grace is giving us perfect. We are all insane people but grace made us sane. We humans are far from being perfect; we are a bound to make mistakes; cause we live right by making mistakes.  We get depressed because we are humans. Everyone must make mistakes and live by those mistakes. We get depressed when we fail to accept this fact. You will keep drowning in depression, when you keep hiding your mistakes. When you make mistakes, accept them and correct them. Then,life goes on. Whenever,you decide to meditate on your mistakes, whenever,you refuse to let go of your past mistakes,then depression will set in. When you thinks that you're too wise and smart to make mistakes,then depression sets in. Always accept the fact that we must fail in some project,we might not always get it right; but we keep on to better those projects. Many young people in colleges have committed suicide as a result of depression. These suicide young people normally live a note behind, stating the reason why they can't continue living. In most note,they always express regret of not being Worthy of living. Negative effects of depression Loss of concentration,loss of memory, becoming insane,lost of lives,loss of weight, suicide, weight gain etcetera. solutions To Depression when you're depressed follow this tips; listen to gospel music,you need the good news at the state of depression. Listen to a good gospel message.Read motivational books or inspirational books or articles. Talk to someone that will make you feel better. Avoid those that will make you feel inferior. You can see a counselor or a therapist. Sing inspirational music,dance and make joyful noise. do not stay alone in the house or in the room. Get yourself engaged with some task. From Hero to Zero I saw the pipe burst and the waters were flowing into our bed rooms; wetting my wardrobe and my fine clothing. I reported this to my elder brother but he signed unconcerned! I perceived the scent of a burning fire in the building,I signaled him,he gave me a death ears; he wanted to save the building. However,the fire was coming with a full force. It might be an electrical fort in our building. Brother, believes he can do the work of the fire service. His stubbornness and I don't care lifestyle made him lost everything. When I noticed that I could not stop him from going upstairs,I quickly run outside the building. I watched our mansion burnt into ashes; we were not able to remove a pin! The good news was that my brother came out of the burnt mansion with just a boxers, thank goodness he was not burnt. However,he lost everything. It was a careless mistake. He could have saved our properties and his wealth,but a careless act made him lost it. This was just a dream! But i woke up weeping from my dream. I pray that any spirit of destruction trying to bring my brother down be destroyed by fire in Jesus name!amen!

Beauty Without Manners I was supper amazed yesterday,of how some ladies lack manners. Often times,i wonder if they have been given some home training. Bad character is like bad table manners. When you carelessly talk while eating or drinking water,you will get choked up. Same way with bad character. The baker that baked my cousins birthday cake is their father's girlfriend. This baker is very beautiful like Hollywood or Bollywood actresses. She is very fair in complexion; with a long nose, charming eyes and blah blah. In height she looks like miss world. I might confess that her outward beauty will lead a man into confusion. God took time to mould her but she refused to mould her character. She have been given the contract of baking for the kids in the house. Often time, when she finished baking for each birthday,she is opportuned to coordinate the birthday. After the cutting of the birthday cake,the children's nanny normally share the cake among all the attendees. Unfortunately or fortunately ,for this particular birthday celebration; this baker girl,after coordinating the birthday celebration; she refused to give the children's nanny,the chance to share the cake. The baker shared the cake and carried the largest part. She made sure,that she cut all the three cakes into half for herself. Her bag was filled with cakes and drinks. The children's mum have not been around and she's not coming back soon.In this note,the children were left under the care of their nanny and their dad. There was no one to fight the baker. Initially, the children's nanny, planned on sharing only one of the cake,since the attendees we're only ten children. I was only observing. I couldn't fight the baker because she's uncle's girlfriend, probably he is the one that gave her the license. In conclusion, I'm asking,what is true beauty,when do you say that someone is beautiful or handsome. What is beauty without manners??

Prayers Over the years, Psalm 3 have been learnt and registered in my sub consciousness. I could receive it by heart. Without looking at the book of Psalm. As believers,we must strive always to munch some verses of the scripture daily. Where does our strength and help come from. The response is from above. Where is above. Above may not be up there in the sky or the first, second or third heaven. Above may be our spirit. The body is referred to as the temple of God by holy scripture. The glory of the latter rain is greater than the formal. When going through distress, always recite Psalm 3. How are they increased that trouble me Many are they that rise up against me. Many there be which say of my soul. There's no help for her God. But thou oh Lord you're a shield for me. You're my glory and the lifter up of my head. U cried unto the Lord with my voice. He heard me out of his holy hill.

Happy birthday to the triplets The Lucy cake pink,the Alex football field cake in green ,the Emma orange cake. The triplets have turned six years. They are really growing so fast. Mum and dad are proud of them. They are very smart and intelligent. If you don't have a TV in your house,you are sure of a whole day entertainment with them. They could entertain you till you get bored with entertainment. They are all talented in different ways. God is really wonderful.

Domestic Abuse Domestic Abuse Growing up as a child,I had several experiences about abuse. Thank God they weren't sexual abuse though. Some are sexually abused as kids while growing up. Moreover,the abuse that is very rampant and listed among domestic Abuse is maltreatment. The ill treatment of a child. Some guardians ill treat their house help. Some will go to the extent of beating and wounding their young house help. At times,they starve them of food. Mostly,those helps eat left overs or spoiled food. These helps are mostly dressed in rags or used clothes by their master's children. They are abused in words and their self confidence are ruined. These house helps,at times can't even talk when others are talking. They are heavily armed with domestic works,house chores and laundry. They hadly have time to their self; even bathing becomes a challenge. They are found smelling and stinking. Whatever,the case may be. I want to appeal to all parents and guardians. Whatever  God have given under your care , please and please! Do not abuse it. Treat other children,the way you want your child to be treated.I felt angry when I visited a friend of mine in her shop,she have a newborn baby and the small girl helping her to carry the baby is just 7years old. The 7 years old girl was feeding the baby with pap as usual.A customer, wanted to buy sachet water and the 7years old girl, mistakenly dropped the baby spoon on the floor while she was huridly going to attend to the customer. Low and behold,this my friend gave this 7 years old girl some two dirty slap. I just stood up and left the shop. I don't like what I hate. Probably,I will speak to my friend at an appointed time. I was so disappointed at her action. I hate people that ill treat their house help.

Mistakes Mistakes are part of life. Mistakes are common; no one is above it. As big as you are or as small as you may be. We are all bound to make one mistake or the other. Taken you back to the beginning. When God created Adam and Eve. They obliviously, didn't know evil. This means that,they lived their lives in the garden of Eden; doing only good. They lived above mistakes till they disobeyed. Disobedience will now take us to the six ways people make mistake. 6 ways people make mistakes: The number one is disobedience. You commit error or Blunder, whenever,you decide to disobey authority. This error attracts instant punishement. This is because, you were fully aware of the the consequences before you break the rules. Taken for example: the scenario of the garden of Eden. God instructed Adam and Eve not to eat of the fruits in the middle of the garden. He explained to them that,that fruit is embedded with evil and good. In other words,that fruit contains mistakes,the knowledge of evil and blunders. They went ahead, stupidily got deceived by santan . Ate the forbidden fruit and became knowledgeable of good and bad. The second one is ignorance: ignorance is the lack of knowledge, information about the right thing.The holy book said that my people are perishing,, rotting for lack of knowledge. You commit mistakes ,when you don't know the rules. No one have thought you. You in other hands,have not done any research nor seek for higher knowledge. You are bound to make mistakes.The third one is sturbonness and fourth one is negative influence. In negative influence, you're pressured by your friends to do what you don't really want to do. Many young people got pregnant as teenagers out of peer pressure or peer influence. Another is ,by satanic attack. Satanic is attack,is explained to be , evil forces unknown to us, working negativily to frustrate us. The last one is ,when you are very stupid; if you're foolish,you are known for making mistake. Stupidity is the inability to do anything right. You know that ,this thing in front of you is mud water,but you will stupidily step into it and get shocked. There Are Three Categories Of Mistakes; The one you can correct easily, The one that is very difficult to correct, The one that is impossible to correct ,some mistakes can be reversed while others can't be reverted. Some can be overlooked,some can have a permanent ijury in your life.anytime you disobey the word of God, you're less than an animal. The mistakes that people make and regret in old age: laziness. What is laziness? Laziness is the inability to make good use of your youthful age. I also defined it as the inability to make use of your free hours or the state of idling about without doing anything the whole day.

Leadership “Gideon, I don’t know how you do it but trust me, if you could convince these highly intellectual persons to work with you and buy into your vision so much that they live it like it’s theirs, you are a true leader. It’s not about your outside. It wells up from the inside. Don’t lose it.” I learnt my first leadership lesson from those words which have stuck since then. Leadership, to me, is a synonym for influence. It is your ability to communicate a vision and have people follow it even without compulsion. It is your ability to attract people; it is your ability to make people see things through your eyes, feel things through your pores and perceive things through your own senses. Leadership is magnetic! Every DAY has a morning, afternoon and evening You notice that mistakes you make in the morning most times could be excused or correctable. In the afternoon, you could make a mistake but it might be lethal and it's even worse in the evening because the day is over and you can only look forward for the next day So your morning phase is when you have no leadership Position...... In that phase, you need to practice as Much as you can and develop yourself while waiting for the opportunity.Here, you're free to perform roles that bring solution to problems I had a time when all I could do was just watch from the sidelines as a student but at that time I particularly gave myself to students and tried to be a part of getting someone's government to work.I gave the president then the respect he deserved while also politely telling him things I didn't agree with To some extent, I was very close to the administration as I was chief press secretary, I would watch as every other student would walk into the office to sit on the president's seat. It was a concern to me but it probably didn't mean anything to them. I couldn't sit there. I dreaded it because I have never been president The government of the day became unpopular because the office of the president was disrespected and it went on that way till I became the faculty president and the office simply just gained respect not because of the rules I set but I felt it was from my time when I served there as chief press secretary It simply flowed from my morning of leadership We're in constant danger as a nation when people who have never learnt to obey are given the right to command On the AFTERNOON of Leadership, this is when you assume the leadership role At the risk of sounding immodest, my first thoughts as President of my faculty was how to make a difference. I didn't just want to exist After my very tough elections, I had 150,000 left on me. All I could think of was how to assure the people that voted me in that I won't fail. I put in everything to ensuring I added value. I and the team gave the office of the president a new look and we got a few things started. That gave me the support of friends and foes and we were headed towards creating value So on the afternoon of leadership, you need to be Passionate and very innovative while not also forgetting the idea of BRANDING Innovation is simply new thinking. Do new things or possibly do old things in a new way

Death There is nothing new under the sun,says the preacher. There is time to live. There is time to die. There is time to laugh,and there is time to cry. Today is a weeping day in my extended family. My mum ,just lost her sister in_law. Her big brother's wife. She was diagnosed of high blood sugar some years back. She lived with this open wound in her right leg for some years now. After receiving medication and treatment for some years now,the wound refused to heal. She lived with this wound the rest of her life. I can imagine the pains ,she might have went through all this years. I feel terrible,cause i am not financially stable. I could have saved her life,may be by taking her to the best hospital ; they might have cut the leg and she could have still be alive now. The wound have rot and all this while,she have been carrying a rotten ,smelling leg. Oh ! Goodness! Dear lord accept her humble soul. She gave up the ghost yesterday night and her burial have been carried out this morning. She suffered all her life. Thinking that one day ,her children will make it,and then take care of her. Unfortunately,her two boys and two girls,are still struggling to make a living. I hate this life,of living from hand to mouth. This life is indeed vanity. My heart aches and my head aches the most. My eyes are sore. I need God intervention in my family. This woman ,just lost her husband in 2018. Now she have given up the ghost. Living her four children with no father nor mother. She struggled to raise this children,now ,she won't be able to enjoy the fruits of her labour. This children are so grieved now. They have never experienced luxury before. I pray that the almighty guide their steps and protect them from the eyes of the wicked and unreasonable men.

Joy Comes In The Morning I do not know! what you are going through. You might be wetting your pillow with tears every night. You might be going through deep pains ,that nobody knows about. You might be feeling rejected and not valued by the people you respect. Your loved ones ,might be treating you like shit. You might be having a zero account. You might be battling with one habit or the other. You may be feeling sick. Or you may be having some sickness you are hiding from your friends. You may want to give up tomorrow. You may have made some terrible mistake in the past. You may be busy paying for your mistakes. You may think that ,you are good for nothing. You may have lost someone very special through your carelessness. You may be going through though time. These are called night hours. Cause in the night hours,we are all alone. In the night hours,you think and cry alone. You keep crying and regreting in silence. I have a goodnews for you,know it; night is for sorrow. Day time is for joy. Joy comes in the morning. August Queen It's my kid sister birthday! The last born of my mum! She's such a unique being. She got a lot of talent. She can weave hand bags ,she is a hair stylist. She even want to learn fashion and designing from me. There's no dull moment with her. She is humble and reasonable. She's very hard working. At this new generation,she still helps mum on the farm work. She's unique and special. She's not like other youth ,that run away from helping parents. Help me wish her happy birthday.

Leadership I made her wait behind till everyone marched to their classes. I noticed that the case became as major concern for everyone as a lot of students stood up the stairs, the lawns the rails and even from their classes to watch my next move. I had to show strength or weakness and either ways, it was going to cost me a lot. With all the peeping eyes, I just could not let her go so the next person would not take my words for granted. I noticed she was comfortable with the attention and had suspected I was at a loss on the right action to take so she made a move and told me she had to go to class and that she would not wait any longer. She proceeded to walk away and I stood there clueless. I called on her to return but she kept moving and with each step, my infuriation increased. With the fear of appearing weak, I walked towards her, shoved her by the shoulder and made a move I have regretted till this day. I raised my hand and slapped her. Unexpectedly, she raised her hand and slapped me back. The impact of this slap was really heavy as her long fingernail got me injured in the process. There was an unusual calm in the school as everyone found her guts really surprising. Being that it was going to be a quiet day for me, I am certain this explains why I had no cane with me on the day. Without a second thought, I had pulled out my belt and my not fitted trouser going down slowly. It was a serious gaffe and we got separated by people. There and then, I got the biggest leadership lesson of my life. We faced a school panel and after writing series of report and explanations, I was set free by the panel but she was punished for the action. I felt so hurt but the whole incident that even with the panel's decision. I walked up to Chidinma to apologize and constantly visited the spot she was serving her punishment to help her through and with this singular act I felt better again. The good thing was that I learned from it. don't lead people by hitting people over the head - that's Assault, not Leadership - Dwight Eisenhower The incident was my turning point as it totally changed my ideals on leadership. I had no need to consistently command or demand respect from people. I returned with a different attitude to life. This time, I was particularly interested in building people and I invested quality time with other students who had academic issues so rather than seek an opportunity for a staff meeting so as to show superiority, I rather went through sincerely looking for needs to solve and Yes, This was the magic! I had developed the body parts theory of leadership in a bid to define what leadership is.... To contribute my own quota to the theories on leadership, I propose The Body-Parts Leadership Theory. Walk with me. Leadership is like the eyes. It looks out for the good in others, notices the weaknesses as well and sees the background of its subordinates. Leadership can see the reasons behind reactions of other people and tries to sort them out without being shallow about it. A good leader knows even the thought processes of those he has to work with. Since the onset of Corona virus and the subsequent lockdowns; we all have faced financial struggle. And still we are facing it every day. Both young and old and students have been digging and searching for an alternative to make ends meat. People have started living from hands to mouth. Some can not even afford two square meal. Someone like me pounds on every opportunity that comes my way. However,I'm very much alert about the scammers. I heard about read cash from a friend,and I didn't think twice but joined. I have nothing to loose anyway, whether it pays or not. I love writing and joining and writing in this website will only perfect my writing skills.
