THE CENTRAL AFRICAN REPUBLIC ADOPTS BITCOIN AS LEGAL CURRENCY
It was a rosy start to April in the crypto markets, with the price of bitcoin sitting pretty in the $48k area. However, it wasn’t to last, with the majority of leading cryptocurrencies ending the month lower than they started. Will May bring better fortunes?
It’s certainly not been quick out the blocks. Bitcoin, the largest cryptocurrency by market capitalisation, has largely changed hands for around $38,500 – roughly flat over the past three days. The Ethereum price is also stuck at around $2,800, which is flat over the past 24 hours. Most other cryptocurrencies are also trading slightly lower. With further interest rate announcements set for later in the week, can prices pick up?

Hi Meta-Pebble community,
The time has finally come! The Meta-Pebble Mint List closed on April 30. When the dust settled, the Mint List grew to well over 400,000 signups! Now the fun part begins. Expect the first round of minting to begin towards the end of next week. The initial NFT sale will be open to the first 1,000 people in the Mint List.
Is your spot further down in the queue? Don’t worry, the next minting rounds are coming soon as we continue to unlock more groups of people on the Mint List.
Your Meta-Pebble will cost 1,000 IOTX and can be minted on the Meta-Pebble Mint List Site. After it’s been minted, you’ll find it in your ioPay wallet. When you receive your NFT it will not yet be activated, that is, it won’t be connected to the MachineFi portal as a working Meta-Pebble. So you are free to buy, sell, or trade Meta-Pebble NFTs however your heart desires!
The Meta-Pebble App will be released in the coming weeks. This is where you will be able to activate your Meta-Pebble and start connecting to dApps, airdrops, and more.
While we are still speaking with and onboarding the initial dApps, we can say that we’re receiving interest from Play-2-Earn games, airdrops of tokens and NFTs, along with applications in Augmented Reality dApps.
Until then, we will notify you when the process of NFT minting begins. We’re pretty excited too!
