Why Keep Planning

Do I have a Plan, do you have a plan? What is your plan? What are you planning? What do you have in mind? Whats,whats,whats! I'm so tired of these questions. And people always love to ask these pointless questions.

I know they said “he who doesn't plan, plans to fail” and “to achieve a goal one needs a good plan or one needs to plan”. Yes that may be true, we all need to plan achieve our goals especially the difficult ones. And planning makes a little more easier to accomplish whatever we set before us. I agree with all of that.

I agree with all of that until I begin to have doubts. Doubts about the world, doubts about success,doubts about certainty and doubt that we have any control about the situations of this world. Well, I guess most people will believe they have some control and may be they do. But most of us only get what is leftover for us and we stretch our arms and palms put open together and accept it with a big nice smile on our face.

Plan were created to help us achieve an aimed objective, they were never ment to fail. And I think the inventors of strategic planning did not invent it so it could fail. Planing is the act of creating and organizing strategically the means to achieve a stated goal or objective. This definition use to make me believe that it can be applied anywhere but I was wrong. You see not everybody's plan is meant to succeed, especially in this era where descrimination has become a norm. This is an era where you need someone who has connection with someone powerful to help fertilize your plans.

The only thing most of us can do these days is to make God our friend and prayer our hobby for us to get our wish fulfilled. And we have to be very patient and hopeful while we do it because God loves the patient and only helps his servant who trust fully in him. And then with great miracle and love from the Almighty out prayers will be answered and our wish fulfilled. That is why most of love the phrase “IN GOD WE TRUST” because only God can help us in this era, in this current situation of the world.

What is the use of having a plan when all your plans get quashed by people who act like gods and the world is created for only them. And they think they know what's better for you. Those that feel there is need for the world to have more poor and helpless people and fewer rich and wealthy people because as they say, it is the balance that the world needs. Shameless.

You make a plan today, a plan you are hoping to realize in the coming year or six months may be only for you to wake next morning and realize that some selfish clown has made your plan impossible to achieve. What would you do? What can you do? shake the heart break and make a new plan? Will that be so easy. We are in God's hands. Sadly.

In management I was thought to always have a contingency plan. A contingency plan is a plan that you formulate Incase your main plan should fail due to some unforseen circumstances. Well, it is good strategy because it is good to have a plan B or even better a plan C. But what if they all fail? Tragic, that will be. Apart from plans failing people die before they are able to achieve their goals. I mean in the current atmosphere this world is in, death is always around the corner due to unfavorable factors such as insecurity, new viruses and pandemics being born every year, poverty and hunger, pressure, tension and depression. all these are mostly created as a consequences of the actions and plans of some people.

I see people that plan for a future today only to die in the next day while some achieve their goals but won't be alive long enough to enjoy it. So what is the use of all the plans, why do we keep planning without certainty of success? People need to change and wish for others what we wish for ourselves. May God help us.
