Fear Not!
Isaiah 12:2

2 “Behold, God is my salvation;
I will trust, and will not be afraid;
for the Lord God is my strength and my song,
and he has become my salvation.”!
It is so easy to say this, but in real times of conflict and when we feel the world is collapsing in on us, it can be hard to do.
Sometimes, I think of this as watching a horror movie during the day. It's easy to say that it is not scary, I'm not scared. But then watch it at night alone, and the feeling changes. Every tiny sound is amplified and our brain starts to create feelings of dread.
It's easy to say we trust in the Lord when nothing is wrong. However, when we perceive trouble, we start to pray or even beg for the Lord's protection.
Let us truly trust in the Lord regardless of our perception. Let us keep our trust levels at 100%....regardless. All you need to do is stand still and the Lord will fight your battles.
You have said it right, sometimes we really recite those Bible verses but when the right time to turn those word into action comes we forget about it.
