As I was teaching this class we had an earthquake drill;). The students had to hide under their desk. Then I had to take the class of seconds graders to the field and wait for the supervisor to count all the classes. I’m a visiting teacher so I don’t know the protocol. Today’s verse makes me think “ what is love”? It’s love just a feeling or an action? I think it’s both. Of course, it’s the feeling that makes us feel as if we can fly. This is my English class at the local elementary school. We are playing a game called-teacher day. The students have to listen and perform the correct task. It’s great for getting students to listen carefully to the teacher. Now they are balancing a book on the head. The winner gets a sticker and a star for the team. Did you play sick games?

During our morning walk, we stopped by the Chinese doctor. Lately, I’ve had trouble breathing in the morning, night, and when I meditate. So the doctor checked my pulse and wrote me up a herbal prescription. I prefer this kind of medicine to steroids.

Today’s verse is late, sorry, but equally important. This is one of the defining characteristic that separates the follower of Christ from others. This is the desire or ability of not returning hate with hate. Instead we strive to return love. It is supernatural in theory and practice. No where in the entire animal kingdom does a creature bless those that hurt it. It is counter intuitive and very difficult at times. However it shows our humility and love when done properly.

Today’s verse is one of pleasure. Being free, what does it mean to you? To me, it means freedom from sin, hatred, anger, desire, and so many other things that draw me down. It’s also freedom from peer pressure. It’s freedom from the expectations that society puts on me. I understand that my society/country has its own interests at heart, not the Lords.

My son got his first library card. His school uniform has their school number on it, so before they don’t need a card. The librarian just wrote down the student number from the uniform. But I guess the school got extra funding, so they use library cards. #RandomThoughts

This place is really special. Living in Taiwan, I seldom come across real Italian pizza. This place takes the prize. The cheese is not the usual cheese they used here. The real flavor comes out. The dough is perfect as well.

This is today’s class. We have a wonderful exercise. It combines stickers and choices with stories. So the students can choose small details in the story and stick stickers. This was every story it’s a little different and special.
