Today’s verse is a reality check. When you praise and worship are you doing it for the love of Christ or because you really need something? Sometimes we want something so much we pray for it and there is nothing wrong with that. But we should search our hearts and ask if it is bringing us into a more intimate relationship with Him. That should be our goal, not our ego.
