Poverty in Philippines

Can you believe that Poverty is a natural phenomena? Is humanity destined to suffer from different life problems? Is there any solution to poverty? We can say that poverty is one of the major problems that countries facing in decades. It can't be solve easily due to lots of circumstances. We can see poverty everywhere specially in third world countries. You can see lots of people living on the street begging for money and food. Some people are living on land that they don't own and we are calling them as informal settlers. Poverty is one of the reason why countries are facing lots of dilemmas, it affects the economy, the life of everyone and even the world. It's the global problem that no matter what aid or actions done, it doesn't vanish but added and added as time goes by. There are different factors why poverty is widespread in different parts of the globe, maybe due to conflicts like war, unstable economic status of the country, Dictatorship, economic failures and many more. Those factors that contributes to widespread of poverty. In this time of pandemic, the effect of poverty really blooms, due to pandemic lots of people below the poverty line lost their temporary jobs that leads them to eat nothing, the opportunities gone and they have no choice but to follow the order to avoid from infections. However people can't endure it, once they won't find a chance to earn money they will die in hunger that's why they have no choice but to stake their life. Some people have hopes on relief goods from government.

It really shows that poverty in one country can really drain out the funds of the government and can give negative effect on everyone's life. Poor people in first world countries are slightly lucky since they receive help form government and other people rather than in third world which most of the population are poor. Who should we blame about it? Is it the fault of the government since they are doing illegal act that makes the country suffer from poverty or its the fault of people since they are too lazy to accept all the opportunities came? So that yoy won't feel that I'm biased. I'll discuss about both of them. Let's talk first about Government, we can agree that government is one of the reason why the countries are suffering from poverty. Number one illegal activities they do is graft and corruption. The money that serve for people are inserted on their own pocket, they just hiding their crimes by developing projects worth millions even though the materials are cheap. The money serve for assistance in health, benefit of people been stolen by corrupt officials. It's really painful and mad to see that kind scenarios. Then the next one is the people itself, Is poverty born since there are people who are lazy and not grabbing every opportunities for success?.

Sometimes it's irritating to here that lots of people are complaining that they are suffering from poverty because there are lots of corrupt officials. Without knowing that it's their own fault that they are poor. I'm also poor that's why I'm grabbing every opportunities as long as I can deal with it. The problem with people is, they are not interested in opportunities once it came, they will just say, they have no knowledge about it, it's too difficult to do, I can't do it, though there are good people that trying to convince them. Like here on read.cash, actually it's the greatest opportunity I know, I try to recommend it to many people and even explain how to earn and how it works but the only answer I got is, they are not interested and they are lazy to write a simple essay. I can't blame them cause it's their own decision but the opportunities is already lost for them. For my last word, poverty is already part of our system, if we are experiencing poverty then there are lots of ways to surpass it, lots of opportunities spread everywhere, we just need to explore and try it maybe one of those opportunities can help us to rise from curse of poverty. How about you, who should you blame about poverty?

For me, part government and part self. We cannot always expect the government to help. We should make ways too to get out of poverty.

when dealing with poverty, the earlier we understand that the government don't care or cant help anymore the better for us, it left for us to change the way we think and find a way to a better living and make things work

I believe there's no easy answer to that question. I believe that social stratification has and will always exist no matter what governments do, no matter the people do.

Now, I read a long time ago that in first world countries, there is social welfare, but you have to follow some rules to be able to get it, it's not like "I'm poor, give me money". And if the people commit fraud, they go to jail. In my country, welfare exist but its for everyone, poor or not. You don't have to follow much rules, you open up and account in a platform, and that's it, chances are you start to get the bonuses the government gives, a teeny tiny amount.

Sadly, many many people have come to rely on that, even if the amount is small, but the scamms that are out there with it are enormous and just wrong. There you have an example of the people being corrupt with a government who doesn't care. It's a complex subject indeed.

The whole world has these kind of issue, and I believe that the Government's should be the first to take action so that poverty would not grow, but it shall be changed with those beautiful and healthy smiles. From homeless to homeland, everyone knows that poverty is control growing and everyday a lot o people died due to poverty, and who would be happy for that, even me seeing a homeless child hurts me. I hope this problem will be taken action so that poverty issue wont increase but solve, and therefore the pretty face pf children could grow and foster

I think the system and the citizens are both to be blame of the poverty they're facing. Just like school system, they're not teaching us about money or about how the world's work they're just putting facts and history in our minds. And so the government for not making an actual to it and maybe the one who's assigning the topic to be given. Also it is us, the citizens who's at fault, it's not our fault to born as poor but it's is our fault to die as poor

Poverty will not be stop as long as. the government itself do the corruption. The most important key is to help our self to get out of the poverty.

Governments should take a closer look at the level of poverty that exists in their country. It is hard to see images of malnourished or homeless children. How is that understood? Was faith in humanity lost? Only a few help. πŸ˜”

Your take on the topic is interesting,,, but sometimes,,, there's simply nothing that can be done... How about those made poor by natural disasters...??? You can't expect a former billionaire for example to come and start writing for a living... Also,,, no matter how much a trade pays,,, we are sometimes wired not to like certain things,,, and I don't believe in doing things you absolutely dislike... These are just my thoughts... I'm poor too,,, and I do my best,,, but I try to understand people who don't see things the same as me... I really loved your thought process though... Cheers... (:

I think that poverty is pretty indestructable. It's already connected to our system since we was a kid, and the only thing that we can do is to break it as foryoubtc said. Yung iba kasi puro asa lang sa hingi, and utak talangka pa kaya walang progress

Poverty is the result of a system that has been built on Earth for hundreds of years, it is the easiest way to rule people in masses. Ending poverty in the current system is impossible for many countries and societies, the system must be destroyed first. Since those who created the system will not allow it, it will remain as one of the biggest problems for a while.
