Your Lucky to have a Parent
What does it feel to have a parent that you see as your grow old? What's the feeling of mothers touch in your face? What's the feeling of having one of your parent that supporting all your dreams and always there in times of your achievements? Sometimes I'm wondering why there are children who dislike their parents since they are prohibited to do actions in their free will, they are mad at their parents since they are forbidden from coming out form the house in the evening, prohibited from entering into relationship, prohibited from hanging out with friends. Usually those teenagers are cursing their parents since they are not allowed in everything and feel like their parents doesn't trust them. Some teenagers are rebelling on their parents by disobeying the rules that their parents said. If they rebel they think that they can do anything that they want, they have the freedom to do the things that minors don't do. Sometimes rebel teenagers leads to wrong path and made a mistake that makes them suffer for their whole life. I was wondering why they didn't understand that they have parents wants to protect them, they just want to keep them safe and let them avoid from bad influence but they just misinterpret the strictness that their parents showed. They didn't appreciate the thing that they have parents ready to protect and support them. Sometimes I feel pity for myself cause I don't have parents that do those things on me. I was born in this world which I didn't saw my mother's face. My mother died when I was 3 years old and I have no clear memories of her touch, I think she only give me a memory that I can remember. It was a memory which men in our place are carrying her coffin while they are on their way to the cemetery. I was there at my uncle's house while licking an ice cream given to me by the ice cream vendor. It was the clear memory I have and the last memory that I see my mother but she's inside the coffin. My father also died when I was young, I didn't recognize him as my father though I didn't saw his face, my siblings said that he's a irresponsible father, he's always drunk and hit our mother but my mother cannot leave him since she loves him so much not until my father died due to tuberculosis and my mother decide to relocate in my grandmother's house. I grew with no mother and father but I have the best Lolo and Lola in the world, they are not my original grandparents since they are my tiyo and tiya but I consider them as my grandparents. They adopt us and took care of us. They give us the things we need such us love, care, food and shelter. In exchange we are the one who do the household chores and help them in farm. When I graduated in kindergarten my Lola is the one who attended the ceremony, then I got 3rd honorable mention. I was looking at my classmates which had their complete parents beside them, they are having fun taking pictures while I was there are the side waiting for my Lola since she bought snacks for me it was a softdrinks and a biscuit. I was there feel sad cause at the young age I already understand that I have no parents.
As I grew older, I didn't pitied myself, everytime I got a medal and I need someone to accompany me, I didn't bother to ask my lolo and Lola since they are busy doing task in farm and inside the house. I remember that my teacher in grade 3 asked me if I have parents with me, I said none and confess that i have no parents, she apologized and gave her a smile, I went to the comfort room and burst out in tears but no sound. Then I wipe out my tears and pretend I didn't cry. When the program started, I saw lots of parents at the back waiving at their moving up to the new grade when it's our time to climb the stage my teacher runs towards me and accompany me in stage and she wore the medal on me. We took a photo together then I went down the stage, I'm planning to go home early but I got surprised when my Lola arrived and she hugged me, I know how she proud to see me wearing a medal. My teacher approached my Lola and they talked while I went to my classmates to congratulate each other. During my graduation in junior high, I'm the only one receive my medal since my siblings have work and school need to attend but I'm already into it. I didn't plant any feelings to my sibling since I understand them. That's how my life revolves without a parent but never in my life that I do bad things or rebel since what's the essence of doing those things, it will just put me in danger and I might do actions that I will regret for my entire life. That's why in the future if I build my own family then I'll promise that I'll support my children, I'll make them feel that I always there for them, I will attend in their graduation, treat them foods if they achieved something and give the love that they utmost deserve, I will make them feel the things that I never feel before.

parents are the second soul in life, they are the guides of life for their children, I can imagine how painful it would be to live if your parents let you go as a child, can we live? maybe we will become neglected children, therefore we must respect and appreciate them because we can live because of them.
i loved without my parents but I was raised by good people and it's a great thing happen in my life.
Pititful story but thank God you are grown now. I've seen children going against their parents simple rules and to them, their parents are suffering them by placing them on the said rule. I almost a victim of this but I don't know how I directed my Steps and stayed back with their instructions. I'm enjoying that life now...
sometimes we misinterpret their actions that for our own sake and we plant hard feelings for them due to their strictness.
There no room for negative sentiment when we are on the side of our parents friend. They are our refuge and our teacher simultaneously. Having our parents is the best care that I've been experienced and I think no one can replace that. A big thanks for sharing this memorable content of yours.😊
Nakakaiyak naman to lalo na yung memory mo sa mother mo😭..but despite all that, naalaki ka ng maayos ng tita lola at tito lolo mo.
yeah masaya padin ako na sila ang nagsilbi kong magulsng and I'm gonna promise to pay them back for all their sacrifices for us.
I felt sad while reading this Chikakiku. I know that feeling cause I haven't seen my mother too until now. Though my parents are still alive but I didn't feel their presence because they abandoned us when we were still young. It's very hard to have an irresponsible parents. The children were the ones who will suffer the most.
I agree, it's still great that your parents is alive and you have chance to see them again rather than in my situation which is impossible.
Ok lang yan Chikakiku. May mga tao pa rin naman na nagmamahal sayo. Andyan pa rin naman mga tita, tito, lola at lolo mo. You're still lucky cause you are being surrounded by people who cared for you.
I can't imagine my self living without my parents.Good thing that you are brave ,nakayang lumaban at anjan naman yung mga taong nagmamahal sayo.
I remembered you have shared this before. I mean the part about what happened to your parents. It still makes me sad. Sad because at the very young age you lose your parents but I'm happy because there are people who serves as your parents.
kaya nga gusto ko na agad maganak para may maalagaan charr, priority parin dapat and future tsska na ako bubuo ng anak kapag may panggastos na.
I can't help but to feel sad reading this one, I never thought this because I have parents but when I read this I'm totally disappointed to myself, I some times taken for granted the existence of my parents not knowing there are a lot of children who grew up without parents on their side, yet I feel glad that despite of everything that happens you grew up as a fine person.
yes I'm proud also that I didn't take the wrong path eventhough I have no parents to guide me, I grew up as a good boy.
Your story is so sad..but i am proud of what you have achieved despite the things that are lacking in your life which is having a complete family in the biggest achievements of your life.. I salute you for being strong and independent. Kids of todays generation, some are ungrateful for their parents not recognizing their struggles from hardwork just to raise them properly...
Bat mo ko pinaiyak😥 I am so blessed na galing sa complete and happy family kahit wala kaming pera but they make sure na puro kami sa pagmamahal at memories nababauin. Ang sakit lang sa puso makaalam ng ganitong story. I know your Mama is very proud for you kasi lumaki kang responsible and mabuting bata At blessed ka sa tiya at tiyo mo.
buti nga lang ako di ako minumulto ni mama kapag nakakagawa ako ng kasalanan haha, siguro lagi nila rin akong binabantayan kaya lagi akong safe.
kahit wala na sila physically but in your heart meron sila❣️
Naiiyak ako while reading what you've been through, Chikakiku. I salute you for being good to your grandparents coz most people I know who don't have parents growing up are rebellious but you, you're different. You choose to be a good one. Your mom must be so happy and proud of what you've become.
I felt like a lump in my thraot while reading this.. you should know that I'm so frikking proud of you dear.. what you have achieved despite all the suffering and lacking.. you are a warrior and a winner
I suppose those who have parents that love and support them are very lucky. Some have parents who actually don't care about them. Even though you grew up without your parents, you have done so well for yourself. Keep doing good and the sky is your limit
I'm very lucky to have a parent and they might not be able to provide everything we need but at least they are working hard to sustain us daily.
Honestly, bro, I mediately scroll at the end at first to see if this is made of a fiction story or something. Well, you were brave and things were handled smoothly. I also believed that there is always a reason behind why some are lost and others are permanently gone, you just slap me with my face and I realized what I did when I was the younger one. Your right, but that wasn't meant that your unfortunate one. You are still lucky that somehow you become who you are right now.
I also believe that everything happens for a reason, maybe I grew up with no parents but u have second parents that treat us like they own child and support our needs. I know that my mother was guiding me throughout this years maybe that's the reason why I get lucky all the time to survive in any form of accidents.
