I have topic to write today that's why I've come up on idea of writing what I've learned on our online class. I've shared on my noise.cash about the topics we've discussed on our subject ethics. Our professor said that humans was developed with morality, its the freedom to decide, choose, and act based on the situation that they are experiencing. For an instance, you have a boyfriend which is so handsome, you've already know that premarital sex is wrong and it against the rule of God, one time your boyfriend asked you to do it with him, thats how the morality will enter. You have the choice to accept nor reject what he want.
For an instance, you permit him to do it, in the end you've got pregnant and the guy left you. Of course, you can't blame anyone on what happen on you, at the first place it's the choice you've chosen and you act for it. That's how morality works, you must know what is right and wrong. The main problem I see here is what we called, curiosity, in this generation lots of teenagers are curious about thing and they are using it as a alliby when they do something wrong. Due to curiosity it leads to wrong decisions in life. What if we will go deeper and discuss some instances in which it involves morality and also situations.
One of the best example is, a child, If the child do something wrong like killed someone with a gun. Do you think he or she had a moral obligation? I want someone to debate on me regarding this topic. On my opinion, that child had no moral obligation because at the first place he or she had no matured mind to think what he or she doing. Maybe that child will be on custody of authority but he or she won't detained and won't have serious cases. Another thing is for those people that had mental disorders, for an instance those have schizophrenia who killed a person, my question here is, is he or she have moral obligation on what they do?, based on my professor, they have no moral obligation because at the first place, they have no normal mind to do such crimes.
Have you watched the classic movie of Ramon Revilla Sr. In which he avenged his family and killed those people who killed his family, in the end the court proved that he's having mental illness and he doesn't sentence into death penalty, he sent to mental hospital to cure his illness. If I will connect this on reality happening on this country, some rich people who made murders and killed people are acting like they have mental illness because there's a possibility that they can escape the law. Last example is, if there's a terrorist caught and was prosecute in the court, his attorney said that he's also a victim because when he's young, he was abducted and raised by the terrorist.
He had been brainwashed that terrorism is good, that's why he's engaged on killing people. The question is, is he had moral obligation on what he do?, then my answer for this question is as simple as, killing is a sin. His alliby that he's been abducted raised by the terrorist and he don't have chance to know what's right and wrong. According to ethics, we humans have natural sense to determine what is right and wrong, it's already on our heart to determine what is good and bad. That's why that man must be punish with death penalty. An eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth, what he do to others must be done on him. Seems like the ethics is easy to say but once we are on discussion, the topic is to broad that our opinion might be divided into two parts. Hopefully, I'm listening to my professor cause the way she teach is so interesting.
Another lesson we discuss is about Filipino Moral characters, some example of this are, Pakikisama, Utang na Loob, Respect for Elders, Hospitality, Amor Opio. Our teacher discuss how those Moral characters became good and bad. When it comes to pakikisama, it's a natural in our culture to join those people even though we doesn't know them. For an instance, you are new to the group, it's natural that you'll gonna be good and be respectful to them. However, the pakikisama became bad when the people you accompany are those people that leads you to wrong actions, like those people who told you to shoplift or take drugs, it's not appropriate at all. Those moral characters have both positive and negative impact, the important is how we handle them because like what I've said we have moral obligation to choose what is right and wrong.

I hope I didn't include redundant ideas, I am planning to continue my story however I can't think the flow of the stories. I was hoping you like this article of mine.
It is true that people with mental illness and children who are not knowledgeable enough may not be sued for the crime they did but it would really be unfair to the family of the people that they would kill. They won't be served with justice. Imagine getting a family member killed by a child or a person with mental illness and they get away with the crime. It would really be frustrating on their part.
