How do you judge situations?

We are living on this world in which people have freedom to express their thoughts and opinions, also we have freedom to judge things based on what we see and what we hear. Sometimes we are giving judgement base on once act since they are asking for it, sometimes we are judging the situation using our mind but those with courage judge the situation using their voices that has two outcomes, maybe it can give nice judgement or sometimes it can hurt others due to wrong judgement. Actually we are living in judgmental world in which every move we had been seen by anyone and they already judge us base on what we did. Today that social media is rampant with the use of technology, judging others thru social media sites is easy if people see inappropriate actions nor post on social media they gonna start mocking the one that post the video nor mock the one on the video without any knowledge about what truly the reason is. That's one of the example of judgement that commonly see nowadays, we can't stop it since people have their own minds that use for judging others. How comes that judging is good? Let me give you a broad example, for an instance you've joined a singing competition,in that moment you've stepped up on stage then you will expect judgment from judges and audience since it's required.

Once the performance end you will be judge by the judges then expect a positive and negative feedback from them based on the performance you've showed to them. If they give a good judgment then you will feel happy since you know that you made a good job but once they give a negative feedback then it means there's something in you that needs to be improve. In a simple way of judging, for example you have this friend that wanna sing in front of you. She's asking you to judge her if she's good or not in singing, of course as a friend you'll tell the truth even though it might makes her angry, it's not that big deal since you are good friends and fooling each other is normal on both of you. However did you know that there are types of judgment that people had. One of those is Moral Empiricism, when we hear the word empiricism the first thing comes in our mind is base on experience and that's how judgement works, we are judging the situation because we already experienced it, for an instance you saw a man that failed on his business then other people will judge that man as a irresponsible since he didn't make the business grow but as a person which experience how to failed then you can understand what the man's felt when he failed to operate the business, the second one is Moral Rationalism.

In which you are judging the situation using your own perception and opinion, which means you have no idea nor experience what's the feeling in that situation since you never experienced it. For an instance in the situation that a girl got pregnant at young age, as a rationalist person you will judge that girl base on what you think, sometimes you will think that she's a ignorant girl doesn't know about the consequences of the action but once you experienced got pregnant at young age then you'll understand the reasons why you engage on thing that had huge consequences. Lastly, you are judging the situation base on your intuition, it means you have no idea what it is, you never experience it, you just judging the situation base on what you feel. This kind of judgments are normal in society specially for those marites out there that have meeting at one side of the street then talking other people, if they found a news then it will be immediately spread throughout the street then sometimes it got fabricated. Actually there's nothing wrong in judging others people specially if they asked for it however judging is bad once we already step out of the line and hurt other peoples feeling. This will be the end of my article, I bet you notice that the ideas are enot constructed well its because I made it on the spot without any research, my basis us just our discussion on our ethics subject.

I learned important things in your article. Before we open our mouth, think about it if it is good for the others, think also their situations and feelings. Before we judge, think about how it affects to people.

Think before you say something. Think before you act. Be more understanding and empathize with others. What if you were in their situation? What will you do? We judge right away because of their actions but we should stop and ask what was the reason behind they acted like that or said what they said.

Well said brother. If such situations happened, I research and then decide to speak. I don't give statements before judging properly.

Yes chikakiku. We are living in a judgemental world. You will be judge through your actions, on how you will talk and status you have then the others. There are a lot of images that you will be judge.

Judge has a lot of ways to happen. Sometimes you will be judge in a wrong way. There are times you will be judge in a hurting way. Sometimes judgement can be a good also since it will help you to make improve the things especially yourself.

This reminds me of a viral Facebook post wherein a father posted a status if there is anyone who sells an iPhone7 device and his budget is PHP 2,500. Then after a few hours, it became viral, and many people laughed at him and even jokes about how come he asked for iPhone with that little money. Then all the bashing stopped when the father leave a heartbreaking comment saying that he was sorry. He had no idea about iPhone that he only posted because his son wanted to get it. Also, he tried to trade his old phone not knowing that it is impossible. ☹

That's how judgement people are in social media, it's really sad that they didn't explain how much does IPhone cause and decide to mock nor laugh at the post, Filipinos are too perfect that's why this country doesn't improve due to this kind of mindsets.😔
