Despite how much you try to believe in yourself, you still find yourself having inner conflicts. It is like a part of you encourages you while the other part tries to bring you down.
So many individuals are quite suicidal today due to self war. Although, there are so many things that comes to play when it comes to the topic of suicide but self war is one of the major reasons. Self war is a derogatory act, it makes you limit your capabilities and your whole being in general. You no longer have control over yourself. It is bad for your health.
Self war can be self influenced or people-influenced. It can be caused by comparison; when you compare yourself to peers and other people. You need to understand that your mind is only creating an image of happiness when you allow yourself to fantasize about living other people's lives, not knowing their inner struggles, when variably speaking, you could learn to appreciate the little things like how well you have been doing compared to the past and how far you have come in life. The media and society at large also play a huge role in this. We all tend to judge people by their physique and demeanor, no one sees the good in anyone who doesn't appear befitting to their eyes. Certain standards have been set in other for you to be accepted in the society, so sad. Debunk such mentality as it makes victims feel insecure and unappreciated which leads to self doubt and limitation of potentials.
Some people do not know how to overcome self war while some do. As self war exists, no matter how infinitesimal, in everyone's life, we all need to preach and persuade the fact that it is in your hands to limit or grow yourself, it is a personal decision that you have to make. If you see a situation as though it is bigger than you, then it will play out that way, otherwise, when you are always optimistic no matter the circumstances and you rise above the challenge, take the bull by the horn, then you will always find yourself trying to get better and better, one step at a time, day by day. Remember, 'where there is a will, there is a way'. Don't give up on you!
