If you're just now discovering read.cash, prepare yourself to expand your mind. This isn't just any old blogging platform. This could be the next evolution of blogging.

At its most basic, read.cash is a platform that allows you to publish content and have it be seen by others in the community. But it's also so much more than that.

If you're a content creator, I can't think of another site that offers you so many different ways of getting such valuable feedback. Whenever you publish a post, you (and everyone else) can see how many times your post was viewed, how many people commented, how much money it earned, and most recently, how many thumbs up or thumbs down it received.

It's Instagram and Twitter on steroids. The more engagement a post receives, the more visible it will be on the front page. But to make things more interesting, let's say you write something that you really want everyone to see, there's a "boost" feature that allows you to boost your article to the top of the front page if you're willing to pay. There is no set price. It's based on the demand, and you decide how much you want to spend each day and for how long to get top billing. You can even boost other people's articles if you want.

Which brings us to the engine that makes read.cash run: Bitcoin Cash.

Bitcoin Cash (BCH) is a new form of digital money. You can use it in physical locations as well as on the internet. Yes, it's real money. You can use it to buy things on Amazon, you can tip content you find on read.cash because you found it valuable, as well as play online poker without giving up your identity or using a credit card on blockchain.poker.

Bitcoin Cash is peer to peer electronic cash that isn't controlled by any government, or bank, or other organizations. Bitcoin Cash can be sent anywhere in the world, instantly, basically for free, and you don't have to ask for permission to send or receive it, whether it's a penny, or a billion dollars. It's censorship resistant, which means no one can stop you from using your money.

What so special about this technology is the fact that despite no one knowing who I am in real life, I'm able to participate in commerce online. I can publish articles like this and earn money from people who see its value. Even if it's as little as a penny, Bitcoin Cash is so cheap to send that you don't have to worry about the negligible transaction fees.

Imagine millions of people sending someone a literal penny for their thoughts. Bitcoin Cash makes it possible.

So you're probably asking yourself, "How do I earn Bitcoin Cash through read.cash?"

I will reveal everything soon enough, but first, I want to emphasize what an amazing platform this is. In the image below (my preferred layout), you can see there's a lot going on, but I assure you the site is easy to use. The people behind this project know what they're doing, and in the six months since they went live, the progress has been unbelievable. I look forward to seeing even more improvements as this community continues to grow. Now without further ado, if you want to learn all the different ways you can earn money using read.cash, keep scrolling.

The 4 different ways to earn money on read.cash:

  1. Direct tips: This is the most straightforward. You post an article, comment, or forum post, and if someone sees it and appreciates it, they can tip you using the button below. Again, they can tip you as little as a penny, or as much money as they have. Believe it or not, there have been multiple $1000 tips on this site in its brief history.

  2. Affiliate program: Below each article you will see the familiar Facebook, Twitter, Reddit logos, but over on the right, you can click on the "link" logo (highlighted blue below) and an affiliate link will pop up. Share that link online for any article you like, and if someone clicks through and signs up, they become your affiliate. Any tips that person either gives or receives earns you 3% to your own wallet. (FYI: Users get 90% of tips, and the remaining 10% is split between read.cash and any potential affiliates. If your both the tip giver and receiver are your affiliates, you earn 3% on each side of that transaction. And if your affiliate happens to get sponsored, you get 3% of that as well.)

  1. Sponsorships: In addition to tipping your articles, someone can choose to sponsor you directly on the site. Think of it as promo spots on your articles. People or companies can apply for one of the spots as pictured below, and you have the option to accept or reject. Like just about everything else on this site, it's the free market at work and there is no set price for sponsorships.

  1. read.cash fund: This is the newest way to earn money on this site. Every day you are awarded points for achieving various goals on the site. At the end of each day, everyone's points are tallied up and whatever % of the total you earned, you receive that % of the day's fund payout, which is currently set to .5% of the fund total. At the moment, the fund is approximately $3000, so each day ~$15 is distributed to the users based on this mechanism. This is funded entirely by voluntary donations. If you think this site is good, and want to see it grow, feel free to contribute by clicking on the Pledge link at the very top of the page, which is where you will see the real-time value of the fund as well as how much was paid out the previous week.

That's it. I could probably write a ten thousand word article on this site describing all the other facets I didn't even get into, but hopefully this was enough to whet your appetite. If you have any questions, comment below and I will be happy to try and answer. Otherwise, I suggest following the read.cash account and reading their updates, or you can post your questions in the read.cash forum as well.

Some of you may already know that I originally discovered Bitcoin Cash through a site similar to this one that ended up failing. But I don't think it was because the idea was lacking. In my opinion, it was the execution. If you want to get in on the ground floor of something exciting, check out this site and give it a try. You might even have some fun.

As always, thanks for reading.

Very nice overview of read.cash in totality. To be candid, read.cash is really worth trying for anyone trying to earn decent amount of BCH online, compared to so many other time wasting blogging sites. Bravo to the team behind read.cash.

I really enjoyed this one. Great for newbies like me. I will explore the options next week when I have more time. I did two quick posts so far. But want to post some history ones soon.

I've found read.cash only a few days ago and I will be more active in a few days, when I'm back on my desktop pc. What caught my attention was that it is very fast and smooth. I don't actually know who the developer is, but he certainly did a great job. Other similar websites lack these features. The content will come from the community, which will probably begin growing a lot soon.

Welcome and agree with you on how fast and smooth it is.

Yeah, frankly to me it seems like read.cash has gained a little bit of weight. It's a bit slow already, but it's fixable.

I personally love the new single column layout. It's much simpler than the tiled version. And despite the fact that there's so much information, I think it's still clean, but maybe it's because I'm used to everything.

Everyone is allowed to expand in their fields by writing articles and also no skill is required for any profit, All beginners can profit easily and promote their ideas freely and for free. Really, readcash will know a major development in the coming months and will become Facebook and other from the past due to the monopoly practiced by him,and i hope the best for this platform

Hey real good overview of RC and a fun read. I think the step up is great. Just got to get rid of those nonOC posts. Seems changes have significantly reduced it but before my time. Only in day 4. And just lucky enough to start after the 27th with the 4th point you raised. Sponsors is an interesting one.

Didn't know that. It'll save me a few clicks to share reddit links in the future. Edit: Wow instantly got 50 points. You guys are amazing.

Re: 50pts: When we were thinking about it, it was something similar to a 10% rebate :)

P.S. We might adjust it in the future, because right now it seems like nearly 100% rebate. :)

One other question is what time does the points get reset? I could swear I had over 100 points this morning but now it's only 76

Points should reset at 0:00 UTC (approx. in four hours)

Yeah, there was a bug affecting many users, luckily we had a log to replay, so we restored the points and patched the bug.

Yeah i think there are still some issues with the points system. My points disappeared but i didn’t get a payout.

Well, it's a distributed fund (meaning we don't hole the money, but rather the users of read.cash hold it), so you get a debt first (which you should see as X points (+$ ...)) and you have to wait until someone who can pay from the fund comes online.

Greetings Cain, Thanks for this article. It is really useful for those new users of Read.cash. And also, for us particularly I would like to have a sponsor but I still have doubts to find one. I also did not know about the affiliate program that exists in Read.Cash, I want to announce that I try to persuade some friends who really have good content to publish in Read.Cash. We will continue to bet on the success of Read.cash and BCH!

You're very kind. How can I place the box to get a Sponsor? I have tried as the guide says but it doesn't work for me [Sponsor]

You need to type exactly as example shows: [sponsors]. No Caps, plural (not sponsor, but sponsors)

hmm at one point @read.cash gave you a choice to have the box show up automatically. I went to one of your articles to see if I could sponsor you, but you're right, not sure how. Hopefully they see this comment and respond.

Thanks @Cain for this article. As a new member I must say this is really educational and inspiring. I dream of a time when you log onto the site and in place of that $3000 you see a $1,000,000 and over 200k users. I think this is very possible to achieve with commitment and consistency of its users. I notice the synchronisation and unity of purpose of some authors and wrirers in the site, that alone is a recipe for success. I'll be glad to be a part of these journey. Am inspired, and in my three days as a new member I have written three articles. If you have any advice for me on content and site participation please don't hesitate to drop a reply. Once again thanks for the inspiring article.

My only advice is to have fun and write what you want. I'll write articles that get hardly any views or tips but I try not to take it personally. No one is forcing me to write here. I do it because I love writing and because I want to spread the word about this site, Bitcoin Cash, and economic freedom.
