It's a sunny October first and Octoberfest feels is here. Fiestas, concerts and other activities in the city and in towns are getting hotter like the weather. Yesterday while walking in the streets going to my friend's office, it was during lunch time so my way was quite crowded. And since it's a pay day also for many workers, the streets were getting busier in the afternoon. I got tired and have a slight headache before I reached my friend's workplace. Though it was not…

It's been 3 days since my last post and I was not feeling well that time. But thanks God for my natural medicines and that 10-minutes exercise worked. And to avoid getting sick again, I had my half-cooked mung beans, winged beans, and string beans for my viand that time. Fruits and veggies eaten raw or half-cooked is the healthiest way to boost immune system aside from enough sleep so, I'm really trying to eat raw or half-cooked. And since my cousin is already here, we will…
It's a Friday, a quite bee-sy and sleepy day for me. I woke up early as usual even if I slept late last night, for I need to go to my aunt's house to pick the atm card. She asked me a favor to get some money from uncle's (her husband) account and pay my second cousin's remaining balance at school. Good thing, I'm still here near the city so I paid the balance few hours before the exam. My aunt slipped at their kitchen and had an operation last month. A bone in her thigh got…
Finally home after more than 2 months! Missed the fresh air, the food, the garden, my mama and papa of course, and our dogs and cats. As if I was away for years that I need to recall where I put some of my things and where I planted some of my plants, haha! Even our dogs and cats didn't recognize me for a minute and so I had enough time to prepare myself from scratching and hugging. And today, I'm busy cleaning our house and my table but still need to earn some cents for I…
Today is my 3rd visit in our garden after more than 2 months. Only yesterday that I was absent there and I can't help but falling in love with the flowers that bloom. I just love the colors and I also spotted some butterflies and moths drinking sweet nectars and have recorded it on my phone. I also removed some grass that cover the other plants but I stopped when I almost cut my fingers. And since it's already past 11 a.m. and the weather was so hot already so, I chose to…
Happy and Blessed Sunday! Sharing with you my healthy breakfast and lunch today. Steamed lady's finger and sinantolan or cotton fruit rinds cooked in coconut milk for breakfast, and taro shoots or tendrils cooked in soy sauce and vinegar with dried wood ear mushrooms. I missed these healthy and delicious viands two months ago but now since I'm here again at home, I can have these more often. Dogs and cats also love these. Hope, you too are enjoying your healthy food right…
How are you here? Been so bee-sy again since yesterday for I have 3 batches of laundry! The 1st batch was done yesterday (my clothes, rags, and furbaby Thunder's stuff) and this morning, blankets and pillow cases after checking my wild raspberry in the woods. Tomorrow will be the 3rd batch of laundry, my white clothes that were not used for more than 2 years. Happy ang mga cockroaches for they stayed inside our old closet, laid in my white t-shirts and left stains and holes…
Finally, I'm here in our new tambayan! Ngayon lang sinipag mag-install ng app eh...or shall I say, this is the right time, naks. Anyways, it feels good to be here but I'm still there sa kabila and hope forever na tayong friends sa noise.cash world. 💚❤️
Rainy Thursday here, kamusta kayo? Padaan lang at medyo bee-sy lagi. By the way, grabe, halos lahat dito hirap na kumita ng sentimos lalo na yung mga honest at real ang account at nag-ieffort sa content but patuloy pa din mga users dito especially mga Pinoy sa pagbigay kay ayyah, ano? Yung kutob noon hanggang ngayon same pa din...sana hindi siya si Lyka08/MissMiyah/ScarletDoll or yung iba pa na mga faker accounts at puro foods din post niya gaya dati sa Foodtown, Kalaika, at…
My own version of coconut cookies! It should be a no bake coconut cookies but since I haven't use our oven for few months, I baked it for 30 minutes at 200 °C. I craved for a dessert that has no animal-based ingredients few months ago and found a coconut cookies recipe from kirbiecravings but was not able to do it that time. Only today when we have a pancho banana harvest so I tried it with for the first time. And since I cooked cassava tops in coconut milk yesterday, I kept…
I was not able to cook cookies yesterday after washing clothes and after cooking cassava tops with coconut milk but finally today,I did it and as usual with a twist. I craved for this coconut cookies since few months ago but now is the right time to make an experiment again so, here it is and it's my dinner for tonight. I have posted this on noise app so yeah, finally I signed up and maybe today is also the right time to be there haha. I'm using same username and still with…
Grow your own food! I'm not tired of saying this again and again. And since we are experiencing food crisis, climate crisis, and still in threat of viruses of the greedy monkey business, let's volt in! Charot, fave pa din Voltes V ano haha. Let's volt in, in growing our own food. Last month when I was still near the city in my cousin's house, I bought 1 kilo of sweet potatoes from a neighbor and I remembered, I shared about it also before. And there was one piece left in the…
Just posted on noise app about growing own food when I was near the city last months. Since we are experiencing climate crisis, food crisis, and we still have threats of viruses of greedy monkey business, we need to volt in in fighting these crises! Hello people, mag-ingay ng may saysay hangga't buhay. Huwag lang mag-ingay para maghanap ng away. See you here and there. Happy and Blessed Friday. noise.app/Blendz https://noise.app/Blendz/9p56lwwk
Just want to share my visit in the woods 3 days ago. I missed climbing at the foot of the hills for everytime I'm inside this mini-forest we have, it feels like my lungs are so clean hehe. I actually checked there my wild raspberries and I found out that only one has survived. But it's okay, raspberries are invasive so hopefully will occupy the area in few months more. And I'm not that worried if my father will find out about it since it grows with "anahaw" or fan palm there…
Happy weekend everyone! How are you here, and are you there already on the other side? Just posted my 4th post on my 3rd day on noise.app, haha! Perfect attendance pa, but I don't know on next days at baka same dito na 1-2 days absent. It was about my visit in the woods sa likod bahay and it was my first visit after 2 months of being away from home. And I was glad that I found one survivor wild raspberry and I also gathered some fallen branches of fruit trees around for…
"A flower does not think of competing to the flower next to it, it just blooms." - Zen Shin Just bloom, stop comparing yourself to others, for God has made each of us beautiful, amazing, unique and special! He knew every strand of your hair, what you are about to think and say, He knew all about you and His plans for you. So just bloom...we may not know when, but it will happen in your own time. Sharing with you these flower blooms from our garden. And I took these photos…
Acharang Papaya Who wants atchara/achara/atsara or pickle made from grated unripe papaya or Carica papaya for lunch? My mama bought packs of atchara from our neighbor last Sunday worth P100 or $2 in total and shared some to my elder brothers and other neighbors. The few remaining packs for us and I kept one pack for me since I also missed this when I was in the city. We have few papaya plants here but too young to be pickled. And we usually cook it as veggie soup partnered…
Acharang Papaya Sharing with you my viand, acharang papaya that my mama bought from our neighbor last Sunday. I missed this dish when I was in the city so I really made sure that I can eat a lot so, I secured one pack for me. Papaya is a good lung cleanser and is rich in vitamins A, C, and E. May reduce risk of heart disease, diabetes, and cancer, especially if it's ripe and not preserved so better add this to your daily diet. Happy and Blessed Tuesday!
A rainy and stormy Thursday here. Though, there's no sign of strong winds, our local officials were already monitoring our river since yesterday due to heavy rains. Thanks God, the rain has stopped for a while now, but I don't know in the next few hours. And also the power was restored few minutes ago, for we have no electricity here since yesterday morning when I woke up. It was back at past 9am and went off again past 2 pm. At past 7pm last night, the lights turned on but…
Our viand in these rainy and stormy days, adobong takway (taro tendrils) again with lady's fingers, split gills mushrooms, and string beans cooked in soy sauce and vinegar. We also have my newest experiment, pansit papaya with mung bean sprouts. I cooked this yesterday but it was good already for 2-3 meals so, naka-save sa time and money. Pansit papaya strips should have carrots and cabbage and other ingredients but we have no stocks of those so, I just added some mung bean…
Though not enough pa itong mga kahoy dito. Need to grow more native trees pa after ng bagyo. Kamusta po sa inyo, diyan? Maging alerto lang lagi at magpray at bukas daw papasok ang next na bagyo na si Queenie. Bakit kaya…
