Being a guitar player in these parts of the the world is hard...
I once read an article that was talking about the price of guitars. It was stated there that if you were using a guitar below 100 dollars, you weren't using a guitar. What you have would be classified as a GSO (guitar shaped object).
This is just sad because I've never used even a $50 guitar. Mostly, I give it difficult to feed myself. It's prosperous to think anyone would spend that amount on a guitar. Here, done families don't spend much more than a hundred dollars on food in 5 months!
Then, the article further went on to say most $1000 guitars are designed to discourage you from playing the instrument. $1000!!!!! With that amount on this country,,, I'll be considered a billionaire, and I'll be able to buy the only thing that matters in this world ... I'll give to be able to buy money!!!! That getting up to that amount in ten years is merely fantasy to me at the moment!
Then, the article went on and stated that $4000 guitars are the next tier of guitars. Please don't ask me what I think about $4000. I'm sad enough as it is... I really don't want to talk about it. But for $4k,,, I'll look for a way to sell all of my country poeple to you!!!! 4k dollars!!!! It said 4k dollar guitars were what you'd but once you become a serious guitar student. Geez!!! I'm considered nothing if not serious about my music!!!! I stay up all night practicing,,, and that's not a good thing cuz I'm schizophrenic. I go hungry a lot just to get guitar twisted things like strings, capos, guitars, etc. All of my life has been devoted to my guitar education. I can't really remember what my life was before I started playing the guitar.
The article went on to describe 5k dollar guitars and how they were loud enough to fill a small hall or something. Apparently, the pros use these ones.
The article talked then about brands and again a fairly used hauser guitar crafted by the man himself could easily be 50k dollars... I saw a YouTuber use a 250k dollar guitar, so I knew a new hauser could be around that price.
Hearing about this much money and thinking that I may not be able to ever spend it was bad enough. But life is compared to many things... A race, a journey, etc. But the one that best suits this article is a game. A very brutal game like mortal kombat. I had been absorbing every blow holding back the tears. When I was reading, I thought to myself for 50k dollars, I'll sell my soul!!! Butt the article didn't end there. Like in MK, the fatality is the endgame. And I received just that when he just calmly stated that in general, acoustic guitars were cheap because unlike electric guitars, they don't have collectors...
I make a living teaching the guitar to those who appreciate what I do, and I make at the moment some $50 a month, and this is averagely fine for my country. I can barely afford two meals a day! Almost all the money is gone on transport alone. I don't like the situation. But I know if I ever get it of this, the money is going to be all the more enjoyable.
Even then, I believe life is fair. I'm greatly underpaid. But this means I can under pay people too. I find that compared to the advanced countries, stuff like food and transport are relatively cheap too. I, despite my current situation still think life is really really fair. I know that being schizophrenic and broke is a lot, but it could always be worse. I could be schizophrenic, broke and dying, or even dead!!!
I have a video I'd like to show you of me playing beautiful tunes on a broke man's guitar. But I couldn't figure out how to add it. As far as I can tell, you have to upload to a website first. I'll try to figure it out before the week runs out. I love you guys. You're all awesome.
(:
When i turned 18 i went to a factory, i worked there for one and a half months, about 9 hours per day. The total salary for the one and the half months of work i got was about $220 approx (would worth about 120-150 dollars of todays prices).
On the first day i had to do such a type of hard labor i partially injured my fingers and my palm, the blood were flowing from my hands and my fingers stuttering and barely moving, i had to cut copper with a simple scissor, no gloves or any protective apparatus.
I had to buy a proper CPU because i wanted to learn more modern programming languages (i had to learn C instead of BASIC).... so i needed the money to buy it, there was no other way.
So indeed, if someone needs that guitar, he will buy it. But does anyone essentially need a multiple 1000 dollars of guitar (computer, bicycle, shoes, etc)? Obviously not.
Retarded socialist people of gated communities who interhited millions of dollars and did nothing in their lives, cant understand the true nature of oppressive regimes, the true results of communism/socialism and other terror-ideologies. Freedom, capitalism, free economy, are a super vulernable, and people must continously fight to preserve these values. And if someone comes and want to take it away... must be eradicated below the skies.
