I'm back to watching anime again. Since Facebook and Twitter have many spoilers about Demon Slayer, I lost my excitement to watch the Second Season. I just switch to another genre that doesn't have a deadly fantasy thriller genre. Its genre is a Slice Of Life. There's no killings, no ugly demons, no swords, no intense battles, and no tragic scenes. This anime that I have been watching lately is, "Uramichi Onii-san".
Here's a little overview and a warning. I might mention some spoilers here. Sorry in advance if you still haven't watched it.
Uramichi Omota or simply called Uramichi Onii-san is a former gymnast which is one of the crews in a TV Show, "Together With Maman". Being an emotionally unstable person, every day he prepares his most enthusiastic self and most amiable smile together with the other crews, which were all miserable adults, to educate groups of preschoolers in front of a camera. As the camera rolls, Uramichi Onii-san sometimes can't help to bring up harsh life lessons while talking to the children, and other times it's not so moral. Desiring to have a peaceful mind after the set, he was bugged by his two kouhais, the singer Onee-san, and the other singer Onii-san.
Uramichi Onii-san's Life Lessons
#1 Everyone's life is different.
In this part, a girl asks Uramichi Onii-san. She said that her dad is 29 years old while he is 31 years old. She asked why isn't he married and doesn't have kids. Then Uramichi Onii-san replied that way in the picture. That's just his first line, though. He blabbered a lot of his dark sides there that even the child got puzzled.
In my perception, I can agree with him. Everyone has a different life and that's why everyone doesn't get married at the same age or they're not yet ready for that part of their life. Everyone has their perspective in life and they have their rights in what direction they will sail it. So what's better for others, might not be the preference of others.
#2 The game is over when you give up.
Being exhausted with unstable emotions, Uramichi Onii-san wants to give up his work but he was cheered up by his kouhai. The Broke Bunny reminds him what their Professor told them in college saying that the game is over when you give up. He was again motivated for a second but go back to being gloomy with his realization saying, "There are games that you're not allowed to quit even when you give up. For example... Life." Well yeah, you can't quit even when you give up unless you commit suicide but don't do that. There is more to life than wasting your time being gloomy. Just remember what his Professor says.
#3 People start growing old when they stop fighting.
After the set, he proceed to his Green Room or their changing room, for rest, and other stuff. He met his Broken Bunny kouhai on the way and was about to say bad things about him to other Rabbit Kouhai. He usually punches him every time he caught him like that but he ignored him this time and has that realization.
Understanding patiently those the one who wants to bring us down and not fighting back is a part of maturity. You know they're not worth your time and that's all a child's play, so you're not fit for it anymore. Like ignoring those Aling Marites when you go out of your house. You know that it's not necessary to mind them and they are not worthy of your time, so you'll just keep your head high passing through them. You know that their understanding is limited so it's better to ignore than to fight.
Here's The Most Realistic Laugh In Anime For You.
Iketeru Daga, the singer Oniisan and the one with the crass sense of humor. He is voiced by Miyano Mamoru. Mamo-chan just made a great job again, truly a veteran in the world of voice acting. Honestly, that's why I watched it because he is one of the voice actors and I'm not disappointed. I'm about to watch Episode 3 later, and this Anime has 13 episodes, so I might write another article about this. I just love the lessons with mixed comedy.
Thanks for checking this out!
Once again, sorry for the spoilers.
I'm still going to thank you for reading this until the end. I hope you learned some lessons about it. I'm going to thank all of you for all of your undying support for me.
