Taking The LET Exam with a Broken Heart
A pleasant and windy evening my dear read.cash buddies! Merry Christmas and A Happy new year!
Time flies so fast, I just realized a while ago that today is the last sunday of the year, and I can't help but cry while worshipping Him during the church service because he has done greater things in my life all throughout the year. Cheers for more bountiful and victorious year!
Last Friday (December 24th), my aunt invited us to come into their house because she wants us to celebrate Christmas with them, but then my mom refused for the reason that she was feeling under the weather and my dad was on duty. My cousin Trisha chatted me on facebook because she is excited to introduce her boyfriend to me but I wasn't able to go there because I have to prepare for our Christmas Eve's Noche Buena. I remembered her past/failure relationships that led her straight to the right man she was patiently praying for. Tonight, I will share to you one of her painful love story that leaves her a very significant lesson and made her even more matured and faithful to God.
Bless the Broken Road
Song by; Rascal Flatts
"That every long lost dream led me to where you are
Others who broke my heart, they were like Northern stars
Pointing me on my way into your loving arms
This much I know is true
That God blessed the broken road
That led me straight to you
Yes, He did"
(This particular song was their theme song)
Trisha is one of my closest cousins on my mother's side. She is very talkative, fun to be with, smart, talented, kind, and pretty. We used to hang out and talk a lot of stuff every time we met each other. She's an open-minded and honest person for the reason that she even shared with me her deepest secrets and failures in life, but I didn't think of her less for that nor share it with anybody. I admire everything about her, and for me, she is the epitome of "Small but Terrible" lol she isn't blessed with height that much, even though I am 3 years younger than her haha Love yah couz!.
Storytime!
She was a college graduating student when she had the most heartbreaking and painful break-up. She was deeply in love with "Kris", not his real name. This guy seems to be an ideal man she dreams of, and according to Trisha, Kris was a hard-working man who managed to balance both work and schooling, that is why she immediately fell in love with this simple but passionate young guy. However, as time goes on Trisha noticed that she was being manipulated and started to make such lies just to meet up with him secretly since her mother won't allow her to be in a relationship not until she graduates. After being in a secret relationship for almost 1 year Trisha decided to introduce Kris to her family at once because she felt guilty for all the hidden things they both had done.
Fortunately, Trisha's family welcomed his boyfriend warmly and joyfully. She thought that she finally had the perfect relationship, but then three days after his boyfriend's last visit, an unknown phone number called her out of the blue. She responded to the call and she heard a woman's voice saying,
"Kinsa ka? Naa lage kay picture saakong uyab ug nakaphone book imong number saiyang phone by the way uyab diay niya ni."
"Who the hell are you? I found your number on his phone with an endearment "Love", by the way, I am his girlfriend you bitch!"
She was ultimately stunned and didn't know how to react to the extent that she ended the call immediately, with a shocked expression on her face. She cried the whole night without replying to his boyfriend's messages. The day after that, she hadn't told him yet, because she wants to clarify it first before taking a step. She decided to call the unknown number again and bravely ask for proof. The woman gave her facebook name account and told Trisha to look for the photos section, and she will find out what she's looking for.
Sadly, she saw Kris and the woman together in one picture. She broke down in tears and called Kris on the phone. Due to extreme pain and shock, Trisha uttered a few words and ended the call without listening to his boyfriend's explanation.
She said,
"Thank you for everything we're done!"
Simple as that!
She got depressed after that heart-breaking event. She went to school without any excitement and joy on her face. What's more challenging is that she was on her on-the-job training/pre-service/practice teaching at that time, and she was still able to hide all those pain all by herself.
Taking the LET taking exam with a broken heart
Finally she graduated from college, but her struggle didn't end there. During her LET Examination for Professional Teachers, the instructor spoke something that made her cry. Whew! I can't imagine myself struggling and suffering from that kind of pain. To the fact that she was still in the process of healing, plus she was so damn exhausted and preoccupied with stress from her Let Exam. She was so tough indeed. Ang hirap kaya maging heartbroken tapos may LET Exam pa! DOUBLE KILL.
By God's grace! She passed the LET exam. She dedicated and offered her victorious sourney to God for being so good to her and helped her survive all the trials she encountered.
Closing Thoughts
That horrible experience gave her a lot of lesson, and drawn her more closer to God. She showed me the true essence of forgiveness, and patience. She is a woman of prayer for the reason that she always pray and ask God's guidance and approval through His words before making a decision, and I am so blessed with her life right now, and I am so glad that she finally met her the one, who loves God more than anything as well. 🙏

Wow! What a story so sad. Kris did bad thing to her and instead of coming straight to her, she made her knew everything, but thank God she met a good partner who loves her and loves God too.
