My Friend's Beloved Dog Was Slaughtered Right Before His Very Eyes

Konbanwa minna ! What a nippy weather we are having tonight!

May I know who among you here are fur parents or pet lovers like me, kindly raise your nose? Kidding Aside. As you may know that I have a dog named Butchok right?, he is quite cute and adorable, but an aggressive and a jealous one. For instance, whenever I called another dog he immediately push it so that it won't go near closer to me lol come to think of it. What a greedy beastie. But still it's kinda sweet though.

But today, allow me to share with you a tragic story of my friend with his beloved fur baby.By the way guys he owned several creatures such as fishes, cats, dogs, bull frogs and even tarantulas jeezz .Does anyone here dares to tame a tarantula? (A venomous spider)if none me neither lol. Mind you guys I do have phobias with frogs and spiders so don't you ever throw any of those species because I might be dead on the spot due to fear (Imma just exaggerating).

Alright, enough with the peep talks, and let the story begin.

MY FRIEND'S POV

"DOGS ARE MAN'S BEST FRIEND"

When I was still on my primary days, I always wanted to have a dog. It's so bored on those old times, no devices no cellphones and internet. Good thing I have a dog he made my life so challenging, enjoyable, and purposeful. Indeed, I didn't have any dull moments with him.

One day, our neighbor's dog gave birth with  four cute little puppies. The two of them are black and the rest are white. Since the two black puppies are both females, I picked up the white one. I prefer male dogs, simply because it won't get pregnant lol. Our life's status was just below average but then I still want to take care another family member and thankfully I managed to sustain the daily needs of my fur baby named the Edsa.

I gave him all the love he needs and foster him with care for him since he was given to me, until such time he is finally grown up. I never thought that he would be a clever and sweet dog. He never cease to amaze me with his instinct and tricks whenever I went outside, I remember when he was hiding around the bush as if I didn't notice him following after me lol. I don't want him to go near in the highway because it's quite dangerous. He waits for me there to head home from school every afternoon, and it somehow made me feel so valued and loved. Our school was just 300 meters away from our home so I just walked there in order to save money instead of riding a tricycle. He loves kiddie treats such as biscuits. We often play together, and he even placed his face on top of my lap whenever he gets bored and lonely. His favorite activity is the throw and fetch game and he never get tired of doing it day by day.

My Dog is my best partner and I missed him so badly.

Until such time, a horrible thing happened. Edsa was gone for a couple of hours, and he didn't even respond to my call through shouting his name or clapping my hands multiple times. I was so damn worried the whole time and I started to get bad thoughts back there. After an hour of waiting and searching for Edsa I immediately took a deep sigh of relief when I saw him coming towards me out of nowhere, however Edsa had a wound on his feet and body. I guess those soldiers did it to him. Just so you know guys there are some soldiers in a distance who eats stray dogs. Since then, his appetite decrease and doesn't want to make a slightest move anymore. It made me believe that Edsa was deeply traumatized without me knowing because it was shown to his actions.

The next morning, Edsa just stared at me as if he wants to say his last goodbyes. I can't even look into his eyes because it brokes my heart into pieces. He don't even have the will to follow me, I guessed he's scared of those evil people who beat him harshly and mercilessly. When I was on my way home, there's no dog sitting on the stone to wait for me anymore. I ran as fast as I could and look for him earnestly hoping that he is fine and doing well now.

Strangely, I saw a smoke and huge fire from a distance. My heart beats so fast and I suddenly feel numb. They were burning something. I tried to get closer to check it out, and unfortunately the only thing I saw was the dead and burnt body of my fur son that was hanged upside down. Call me rude but I picked a stone and throw it to the heartless drunkards who ate my poor dog. I never thought that my uncle and grandfather were the ones who slaughtered my beloved Edsa. My father heard me crying out loud and told me to stop throwing a tantrum, like the h*ck? How can you say that? My heart was torn apart and I can't even let the thought of witnessing your dog killed before your eyes? It won't sink in directly into my mind and I can't hardly accept that. Father just scolded me right after that and gave me a beating. I got so depressed and they don't feel sorry at all. As a result, I started to hold a grudge against them, and I can't forgive them that easy.

Mother just told me that, Edsa is going to die soon, so they just slaughter it to eat instead. They should've consulted me first before doing such, Edsa is my property, I raise him like my own child and they don't have the rights to kill him like that. Nevertheless, time heals all wounds and I can't turn it back anymore.

To my sweet boy, fly high you won't be forgotten my love. I love you.

What a terrible story isn't it? That was way too harsh. Animals are like humans too, they have feelings and they must live freely in the way they want (sighs). It's good to hear that these days we are not allowed to kill and eat a dog, and other domestic animals otherwise they may be put in jail.
