Birthday Plans for the Two Precious Gems of my Life

Konnichiwa! Read idols, howdy? Is there anything great happened to you lately?

Just a while ago, my cousin had a simple yet momentous 18th birthday celebration held at their house. She already reached the legal age and it’s time for her to step forward to another bigger journey, milestones, and challenges towards being a fine woman. Indeed, her sweet childhood is now over.

Alright, I’ll cut it out and let’s move on to our main topic for tonight.

I already set a birthday plan for my parents since January, and now I have only a week to prepare. Just so you know guys, my mom was born on April 4 while my dad’s birthday was on April 3 (char tadhana yarn). That born day coincidence is a huge advantage for me because I don’t have to plan a birthday surprise for them separately. So what’s the catch? Actually my mom jokingly asked me what’s my plan for their upcoming birthday celebration next week and I just laughed at her awkwardly as if I am ignoring her patama lol. No more spoiling muna hehe. Secret para bibo charess.

It seems like I am the one who’s most excited next week for their special day, well I just can’t contain my happiness for some reasons. I already saved up a bit for them and maybe this coming Monday I will withdraw my April earnings here in read.cash.

I still don’t have any birthday gift ideas, that is why I asked my little sister to do me a favor which is to check on my mom’s add to cart list on her shoppee app lol. If you are wondering why did I request her to do that it’s because my mom loves to shop online.

After checking mom’s shoppee app my sister immediately told me that she saw a lot of couple tshirts, couple watches, a pair of shoes for my dad, and dresses on her add to cart lists. As a result it gave me so much pressure because I am afraid that if I buy one of those things she mentioned there will be a huge possibility that they won’t like it or it might not suit them since they are both plus size and of course the quality counts. Well, I am just being careful about how I spend my own earnings/money so that I do not waste any.

So here’s my initial plan;

• I decided to shoulder the food expenses as well as the cake.

• I will buy some birthday decors if kaya pa ng budget ko.

• I will invite my mom to join me in the mall to buy something for ourselves. This would give her the chance to choose her own gift.

• I will asked the UFM (UNITED FOURSQUARE MEN/HUSBANDS) and UFW (UNITED FOURSQUARE WOMEN/WIVES) Department in our church to conduct a birthday serenade for the both of them. (NEVER PA NILA TO NAEXPERIENCE HEHE)

Hopefully these plans of mine will be successful and all my efforts won't gone to waste, for the reason that I really want to see my parent’s beaming smiles. It is my greatest desire to make them feel special on their birthday. It is my way to show my utmost gratitude and appreciation for raising us and molding us into a person we are right now. Aside from that, I also realized that “it’s my turn now”, because they prioritize our needs over their own pleasures. All they did was to love, protect and watch over us every single day. Yeah, IT'S PAYBACK TIME.
