What a rainy night again! It feels so great and soothing when it's raining right? A perfect weather to lay in bed and cuddle all day with the people and animals that we love. It is also good opportunity to nap, maybe even take two naps lol. I see myself standing in front of my glass window enjoying the cool breeze and watching picturesque scenery while taking a sip of coffee, ahh! So lovely! I really love mild rains. So, really, rain rain come and stay, I dont care if you stay for a day. However, that was just a lame imagination of mine, and it has nothing to do with the main topic for tonight.

They have feelings too...
We know that they have feelings too! Dogs, yeah I'm talking about dogs. I wonder if where would these stray dogs stay when it's raining. It's really cold and we don't wanna get wet the whole night and so are dogs too. So for now, I want you to meet "POGI" the abandoned dog, this dog already known us in the past 5 years. He was owned by my uncle but neglected
Pogi was a nice dog, when he was still with my uncle's premises. They were always together in every moment. Whenever uncle goes back to his tree house, harvesting and planting in his field, pogi is always there to follow him. He even digs a hole where uncle spreads the corn seeds that lately became a corn sprout. And during the harvest time, pogi wanders around the field to scare the crows and chickens away from the harvested corns. Every night, the dog guards their house to get rid from intruders and suspicious strangers. By that way, I witness how uncle took care of his dog, he feeds and bathe it regularly.
One day, Pogi was nowhere to be found, so my uncle was wondering where did his dog go. A moment later, one of his neighbors informed him a very disappointing news. The neighbor told him that his dog bit a goat earlier from the other field, and that made him enraged. Even though the goat did not die but still, he was being compensated for such damage dealt by his dog.
Pogi was neglected...
Uncle was so mad about what happened. So due to his emotions, he whipped his dog mercilessly using a stiff wooden stick. The whip was extremely painful enough to hurt the pity dog, but here's what more painful than a physical pain. Uncle bought a new dog then named it " Astig", which really hurts the feelings of the old dog so much. Uncle loves his new dog so much, making it as his new field partner in life. From that day on, Pogi was being abandoned as if he was totally ignored by his master. That thought alone was disheartening.
Due to jealousy, Pogi ran away from his owner and I usually notice him wandering infront of our house.
Since, uncle had it's new dog he did not look for his old friend anymore. The poor Pogi wandered anywhere seeking for food to survive. He was getting scrawny and thin, far from his figure when he was still being cared. But due to it's unpleasant smell and filthy figure, he was being rejected and beaten by the people.
After a month of being abandoned, we saw him sitting outside in our house while we are eating our dinner. We do pity on him, because we know, that dog was from my uncle and it is a nice dog too. We feed him everyday and he looks so hungry everytime we offered him some food.
I still love you...
One day his owner came to our house to ask something, and his old dog was outside. I wondered what pogi would do, if he sees his real owner once again.
As the scene goes on, I wasn't expecting that the dog would still be so happy seing his real owner, wagging it's tail and you can really tell that he's so glad, yet his owner seems to have no care at all, (sighs) what a pity!. Now, I understand how deep the love of a dog would be. Even though he was being abused, abandoned, and neglected for how many months but still his love is far more greater than the pierce of pain he felt back then when he was still the only dog that is being loved by his master.
However, he did not followed his owner and chose to be on our side instead. We're the ones feeding him now. Poor dog, but he is still fortunate because he got us. ❣️
