Peer influence.

8 59

Peer influence is about doing things just to feel accepted by your peers, peers can help us positively when we are in the right peer of people.

Being with the right peer of people who think positively and make good decisions would make us grow. They would point out where you are making mistakes and help you if need be.

Peers affect us greatly as we communicate with them and mingle with them, as the saying goes, "birds of the same feather flocks together".

We need to know the type of peers we are with so we won't copy bad habit, for example, you can't move with someone who is a drug addict and not join him/her to do it, it's not possible as they won't influence us into doing it and before we know it we are also into drug addict.

Peers can bring out the good in us and also make us a bad figure to the society, we just need to be careful with the peers we are into, Friends affect us greatly with their words and what they do, humans learn quickly and adapt to things they see daily.

Peers can affect us positively and also negatively. They can make us a good example to the community and also make us be a bad example as they forced us to try out things we are not interested in.

We can be forced to try out things which are bad but due to peer influence we would do it just to feel among the peer...it also affects us positively as we can try out new things which can be helpful to us if we are with the right peer of people.

Peers can help us whenever we are in need or feel emotionally down it just depends on the peers we are into, most peers add to our pains and force us to do things which are bad while others affect us in a good way to try out things that can be useful.

Peer can either be good or bad. It all depends on the people involved in the peer. We just need to look before we leap into any peer so we won't be falling into the bad peers where we would be affected negatively.

Author's message.

We can be affected positively and also negatively. It all depends on the type of peers we mingle with as peers affect us greatly.

Yes, no matter how firmed we are with our principles, we still got influenced by our peers sometimes. Thus, it's really important to choose the kind of people we surround ourselves with. As the sayings goes: Tell me who your friends are and I will tell you who you are.

Sometimes our character, behaviour and actions will be influenced by the peer. Parents could observe their children if their actions changed. Positively influenced by the peer if actions changed into good ones.
